There are also yousafzais in bannu in ghoriwala region. Bannuchis are usually dark-skinned people but yousafazais there are fair-skinned with green eyes.

Sherzai aren't from Jalalabad I don't believe, the Current Governor of Nangarhar Walayah is from Qandahar and I believe they're somehow connected to Barakzai. Barakzai Abdali wror might be able to elaborate on that.

What are you talking about. Tajiks are as tribal as we are. Why do you think they can run institutions when they have never run them in the past and are not running them currently. You think people like Fahim, abdulah, quonini can run institutions. Name me one tajik that has the capacity to build and run institutions.

Here is little about the Zazai tribe. Jon Baz Khan and Tor Baz Khan(Turi tribe) were brothers.

Zazi is a sub-tribe of Khugyani which falls under the Karlanri tribe of the Pashtuns. They are primarily found in Paktia and Khost provinces of Afghanistan, but they have a big population in Kabul city and Baghlan province of Afghanistan as well.
They also reside in the Kurram Agency of Pakhtunkwa . The Zazi are divided into nine wands:

                1. Hashim Khel
                2. Lehwani
                3. Ada Khel
                4. Petla combined with the Allisemgeh
                5. Husain Khel
                6. Karaia Ahmad Khel
                7. Ahmad Khel combined with the Bayan Khel
                8. Ali Khel
                9. Jamu Khel

Any one care to add to this please do.

Khushal having tribalistic tendencies are not the same as having a tribal society. Tajiks (at least the Persian speaking) are not a tribal society. They don't have tribes, or clans, etc.

@Manzareh, they may be defined as a social class or division but they are not tribes. They are entirely different groups seperate from Pakhtuns/Pashtuns. Within the Pashtuns there are the sub-tribes and clans.

Manana wrora but I am pretty sure Aimaqs are not tajiks and neither are Kabulis or Kohistanis per say. I am pretty sure Aimaqs are a turkic-tajik mix and kabulis pertain to the local dwellers of Kabul. Kohistanis speak their own language and are in Pashtunkhwa as well. Manana for the link, this is a first I am hearing about this.

Brother Khushal as BLS told you about Aimaq
Well I have so many others which are not tribes but rather classified by this site to be a tribe simply because of the fame of the words such as Kabuli or Kohistani, its sometimes very generalized.
However some of these names means same things for example the Furmuli is not a tribe in a sense to be same Kohdamani are somewhat Afghan but do not practice tribalism, in old days they used to speak a language close to Ormuri and some say their native land was Suliman region, however they are now majority proudly known as Pamiris.

The Arbabzai are Afghan-Arabs, Allahyari are Turkomans, Ragan are natives of Ragh distract of Badakhshan, Baraki are Jewish Herati backround. Some say these Baraki are decendence of a lingustic group of northern Kabul some say its maybe people to Panjpai because some Zirak-Barak are still Ormari speakers which maybe same as Baraki language of Anciant northern Kabuli Language. Its hard to say but from what I know Baraki is an Afghan tribe but not in a sense of tribalistic practice. Jagatai LOL its so fanny is an Turkic or Uzbeki tribe, Sek are native people backroung could be same as any other Seks, perhabs some seks do speak Dari so this website decided to make this a seperate "Tajikistani tribe", Yamchi and Khamar again a Shia Ismaili group of Badakhshan, Murghabi=afghan district as well as River's name Kohistani we have 3 Kohistan in Afghanistan and one in Pakistan, Kabuli=proud population of Kabul are generalized word, cannot be classified as "Tribes" or Qwams.

so an example of a sub-tribe and clan would be something like ..........?

                            Manzarah,
Tribes are structured like a family is structured.

                            Look at the link above.
Our ancestor was Karlan, he had two sons named Kuki(kukai) and Kodi(kodai)
and they had children as well. Those children are the tribes and their children are the subtribes and their children are clans and their children are subclans etc etc generation after generation.
We belong to a very unique people. I hope I explained it well but maybe someone else can add to this.

                              • What Khushal said. Yousafzai -> mandanr -> Wahdatkhel...there is an example (I know it is a basic lineage but it is the quickest I can remember for that subtribe).
