Ghulams Faithfulness to his British Masters

"I am scion of a family which the English Government acknowledges to be faithful to it. Inqilab reminds of a story:

There was a master who was Muslim. He had a Hindu servant.

Everyday this master would beat his servant and force him to recite the kalima shahahah. The servant would resist. The next the day the same thing would happen. Everyday the poor servant would be hurt and bruised because of his master. One day when the master was beating him the servant was fed up and decided to accept what the master was requesting. So, while being beaten up, the servant said to the master: "ok...ok, I will accept. What is the kalima?" The master, dumbfounded, stopped beating his servant and said to the servant: "Good question, I, myself, don't even know."

ابتِغاءَ الفِتنَةِ وَابتِغاءَ *

إِلَّا اللَّهُ ۗ وَالرّٰسِخونَ فِى *
العِلمِ يَقولونَ ءامَنّا بِهِ كُلٌّ *

English-Sarwar translation

It is God who has revealed the Book to you in which some verses are *
clear statements (which accept no interpretation) and these are the *
fundamental ideas of the Book, while other verses may have several *
possibilities. Those whose hearts are perverse, follow the unclear *
statements in pursuit of their own mischievous goals by interpreting *
them in a way that will suit their own purpose. No one knows its true *
interpretations except God and those who have a firm grounding in *
knowledge say, "We believe in it. All its verses are from our Lord." *
No one can grasp this fact except the people of reason.
