Is it true Ahmadis were once considered as Muslims in Pakistan?

In Pakistan they were declared Non Muslims by constitutional amendment and by an act of parliament in 1974 but in all other Muslim countries Ahmadis are considered as Non Muslims at least by the Muslim scholars if not by the state. In Pakistan there were considered non Muslim right from 1947 but in 1974 they were declared non Muslims legally.this has never happened to any other sect.

I dont know if there is a single well known Muslim scholar who will consider Ahmadis as Muslims. Even they are not allowed to enter the Makkah and Madina and are not allowed to perform Hajj as non Muslim cant enter those areas.

Dear brother, the reason why the mushrikeen of Mecca did not accept the Prophet (saw) was because they did not find the need for it. The reason why many people, today, don't accept Islam, is because they don't find the need for it.

You, as a Muslim, have to follow the Quran. The Quran mentions that guidance will always be sent from Allah. That guidance will not always come in the form you want it or like it. Therefore, as a God fearing Muslim you have to do your respective unbiased research on whether the claimant is right or wrong. You can't claim that there is no need for one.

Our times say something totally contradictory to your statement. Our time is dictating the need for a Heavenly organization. No ifs or buts about it.

As far as Pashtunwali is concerned, you have to understand that it can't precede Islam. It is the other way around.

Please dont compare Muhammad with Mirza Ghulam. Muhammad brought a new holy book and changed the whole fabric of society. He challanged the very basic belief, ethics and worship system of the people of that time. Thats why he had that opposition.

We need reformation and education but not a new prophet. If Muslims are deviated then religious scholars guide them. I dont understand what impact Mirza Ghulam left on society. th eonly thing important is his claim to be the messiah, mahdi and prophet but with no consequences.

Pashtunwali is culture and islam is religion. This issue we have discussed in detail.

Why are people so hesitant in accepting Ahmadis? we accept Shias dont we?

Because Mirza Ghulam Ahmad the founder of Ahmadism claimed to be a new prophet which is not possible in the main stream Islam. Other sects as Shias have differences but this much serious. They consider the prophet Muhammad as the final prophet but have issues like imamat etc. Ahmadis is the only people on which all sects agree that they are not Muslims. They are considered like christians, jews etc completely non Muslims not like a sect within Islam.

After my research of days, I have no problems with Ahmadis. They can follow what they want and I consider them as Muslim just like I consider Ismailis and Shias as Muslim.

I also have no problems with Ahmadis being a sepaarte religion but they cant be Muslims as how some one can be Muslim who does not believe in the finality of prophet Muhammad. Can you believe that there can be another prophet after Muhammad? This is a very fundamental belief.

Shias and Ismailis are muslims because they have no issue in the prophethood. They have other issues. If for the sake of argument we suppose that there can be another prophet but for that Mirza Ghulam cant be the candidate as he being Messiah, Mahdi did not bring any change as can be expected from a prophet, mahdi and Messiah at the same time. Its better for them to join the mainstream islam by denounicing Mirza to be the prophet, mahdi and messiah or declare themselves a separate religion.

Osho Jana, why do you think Muslims are awaiting the Messiah and the Imam Mahdi? What does Messiah mean to you and what does Imam Mahdi mean to you?

Also, what right do we have to kick someone out of the fold of Islam?

With respect to Ahmadiyyat, none of what they say goes against the Quran. NONE. There are verses that talk about Allah extending prophethood until the Day of Judgment. In fact, it even talks about those who follow Hadhrat Muhammad (saw) are able to reach to a status of a prophet.

Please take the starter of this thread. He has called upon all Muslims and Allah as his guide to kill Qadiyanis whereever you find them.

Once Qadiyanis become as powerful as these Radicals, I am sure with History as my source Qadiyanis will too consider others as devients and declare them to be killed.

Its a Cycle of the Faithful. Once one feels convinced he is right, he with the power of God by his side will enforce these Ideals onto others, however if the others refuse his views, by the sword of might and virture he would be slaughtered.
