To claim something is one thing and to prove it is another thing.

If no other sect believes that hazrat issa is not dead then what happened to Mirza that he believes in it. If its such a universal belief in islam for 1400 years then how now Mirza says its incorerct.

If Ahmadis believe that Quran is the most superior book. Islam is the most superior religion. Hadhrat Muhammad (saw) is the most superior prophet
then where is the place for Mirza. He can be just a scholar of Islam why he claims to be mahdi, prophet and messiah if we have all these superiors.

Do you think that the Messiah and Mahdi will be superior to Hadhrat Muhammad (saw)?

No problem. If you see that thread, we were all saying, no, that is not possible. Yet, many were agreeing with you and you were agreeing with them--that it is just an ordinary religion and that it does not mean anything except to Muslims. And Hinduism is also correct because it is equal to Islam and is correct.

The matter is parallel to Hadhrat Isa (as) and the Jewish scholars of his time. The same was prophesied by Hadhrat Muhammad (saw).

It is a normal fact that all prophets are persecuted and their communities are looked down upon at the beginning. The early Christians did not have peace for 300 years.

Mirza Ghulam Ahmad has said the same about his community, that three centuries would not pass before people start looking seriously into his claim. Until then, those in search of truth will find truth, those who are not in search of it would be nonchalant about it.

So whats the big fuss about? they read the Quran. they follow the sunnah too right?

The big fuss is that the founder of Ahmadiyat claims to be Mehdi, Messiah and a prophet at the same time. Mainstream Muslims dont recognize his this claim as for them the last prophet is Muhammad and hazrat Isa and Mehdi will come before the day of judgement but have shown some signs which Mirza Ghulam does not fulfil at all.How can he be the 3 in the same person when Mehdi and Isa have different discriptions and are different persons and have many signs, miracles and consequences once they come which Mirza Ghulam not at all demonstrate.

Mainstream Muslims belonging to all sects and schools of thoughts like Sunnis, Shias, Ahle hadith, hanafis, Shafiyes, Hanbalis, Malikis, Deobandis, Brelvis, Sufis or whatever all agree on this one point that Ahmadis are not Muslims as they deny the finality of the prophethood of Muhammad.

If Ahmadis stop calling Mirza Ghulam as Mehdi, Messiah and a prophet then they can be included in the mainstream Muslims or if they are adament on their this belief then I dont see any place for them in Islam and its better for them to call themselves a new religion Ahmadism but not Islam as this way they will lose the opposition of Muslims and may progress. Its in their own benifit to either shun the belief of Mirza to be the Messiah, prophet and Mehdi and muslims will accept them or they launch a new religion and this way they may convince people to be converted to their religion but their attachment to Islam is counterproductive to them.

I have read almost the links and have watched all the videos on this issue. I am not at all convinced that Mirza Ghulam Ahmad of Qadyan is any Messiah, Mehdi or Prophet.He might have been a reformer, a religious scholar, a leader, but not a prophet or mehdi or messiah.I have not seen such a strong opposition to them by Muslims as to any other sect or school of thought. Even Sunnis and shias agree here calling them non Muslims. All the counter arguments against them are highly convincing to me. By chance that day I met an ex Ahmadi who has now embrassed Islam and his remarks further strenghtened my belief that Ahmadis cant be Muslims.

It does not mean that I dont have tolerance for Ahmadis. They have their own way to think but as I suggested its better for them to stop believing in Mirza to be prophet, messiah and Mahdi or just shun Islam and start a new religion. Within Islam no one will tolerate them.

All muslims sects believe in these except Ahmadis. This is the yard stick. Ahmadis differ in making Mirza as prophet which is against the fundamental belief of no more prophets after Muhammad.

To tell you the truth, its not my problem how to recognize them and how not. I am more concerned with the real issues Muslims and Pashtuns are facing like having no democracy, no development, no education, no health and having terrorism, extremism, ignorance, wars, poverty etc. These are my priorities in life not mahdi or messiah. The development of Pashto langauge is my other priority.

For religious issues like beleifs, worship and morality we have many religious scholars and we dont need any Mahdi, messiah or a new prophet at least these days.

However if Mahdi and Messiah help me in these issues being leaders of Pashtuns and Muslims then I ll be interested in them. But I know that Mirza Ghulam came and died and did not help us in these issues so I dont bother about him.
