See, both my parents were born in the west, and their parents came here in their 20's, yet me and my brothers all new Pashto before even English, why? because we had Pashtun parents thats why. Your types came to the west one generation ago fresh of the boat and adopted naval high chinos and floral ties to fit in with the white society around you.. See its not all your fault, you're parents were submissive insecure douches that abandoned their own culture and never had it in them to make their kids proud of who they are.. so what did they expect from their children but to have no identity and end up non-cultural kaafirs?? You see, you say 'i dont know pashto, so what' but its much more deeper than that, although being Pashtun is much more than just the language it still demonstrates alot of the upbringing and mentality of the individual in question (you) it demonstrates the mentality instilled in you - we are the dominant force wherever we are, move us wherever you wish but remain 100% secure about our identity, we dont get influenced or conform to the society around us to fit in, unless ofcourse your like those 2 good for nothing sellout parents of yours which gave birth to a mistake of a child that can't even speak a single sentence in our language and now an active Islamopheobe online. You know what, you aint no Pashtun, probly some Pathan saab wanabe that had some sort of distance relative 1000 years ago like the rest of your phony types, it's a recurring cycle here at PF; I'm a Atheist, I'm a Islmopheobe and GUESS WHAT i can't speak a word of Pashto LOL you come straight out of a comic book.----------

halaka means "Hey Boy" .."zoya" means "hey son"Originally posted by Damir9000 View PostI don't know what to answer to that...
I am Waziristani Pakhtun from Logar/Kabul.
Is that what you wanted to know?
Son, Halaka?
How old are you dude?
BTW, how can you be a WAZIRISTANI PaSHtun (since they use the SH dialect) from Logar? Am I missing something here?
Waziristani is not a tribe, Waziri is.
Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

Yeah, I understood that. He was basically talking down to me
and asking what kind of pashtun am I.
My parents told me our tribe moved out of Waziristan a long time ago & settled in Logar.
We're of the Pakhto dialect now. But I don't know if that was always case.
My tribe isn't Waziri. It just resided in Waziristan.Last edited by Damir9000; 04-25-2016, 11:08 AM.

So rather identify it. I will tell the geographical info. Much safer that way.

LOL yeah but that's only because they live in Bangladesh where laws don't protect them. You're in Canada.......sorry man, I'm not saying you're not "for sure" a Non-Pashtun, but it sounds like you're stalling.Originally posted by Damir9000 View PostI do know my tribe. I just don't want to say it.

Also the reasoning Damir is giving a bit faulty because if there's only a handful of tribes in Waziristan, him saying his tribe would not put him in any significant danger than what he's already said, since all one needs to do is examine the HANDFUL of tribes from Wazisirtan, and narrow it down to the ones that went to Logar and then narrow it down to those that have relatives in Canada.
so Either
a.) He's not a Pashtun
b.) He doesn't know much about the tribes, which can happen if he's a Pashtun whose family lived in Kabul proper for a few generations or areas where napashtun reside mainly. But either way he's outside of Pashtun culture.
c.) his reasoning skills are not as strong as they should be.

Well, it doesn't really matter if I live in Canada.Originally posted by Iblis_Efreetzai View PostLOL yeah but that's only because they live in Bangladesh where laws don't protect them. My own family does not know I am an Atheist.
The afghan community is pretty small in Canada.
They can very well join this Forum and catch on to me.
Also, I do plan on visiting Afghanistan in coming future.
More & more Afghans/Pashtuns have access to internet and can potentially join this Forum.
I have already shared which country I live & where my family is from.
It wouldn't be too hard for a family member or family friend to figure out who I am.
It could get ugly.Last edited by Damir9000; 04-25-2016, 12:51 PM.

My parents only briefly lived in Kabul.
They were both raised in Logar.
My tribe is not huge. My family in Afghanistan can easy identify me if they join this forum.
The reason why I am such lousy Pashtun is because I came to Canada when I was a baby.
I only speak pashto with my parents. I speak english with my brother since kindergarten.
I also had to learn to read & write 2 languages at school, no time to learn proper pashto.
stop trying to debunk me. lol it's really silly.Last edited by Damir9000; 04-25-2016, 01:03 PM.

I don't think I'd even need to debunk you, your reasoning debunks itself. Waziristan is already a small region. So only a handful tribes or families would have gone to Lugar. If you're concerned with personal safety, even that information would have been enough for people motivated to dox you. Also you're in Canada , as long as you're there you're safe unless you think ninja assassins are lurking to throw a well tined blow dart or a shuriken at you. If you believe something of that sort, then you have other problems on your hands of the tin foil hat variety.
laughing it off , doesn't change the glaring inconsistencies in your reasoning for why You can't name your tribeLast edited by Iblis_Efreetzai; 04-25-2016, 01:10 PM.

and I have great faith in my Internet Security software.
I am more concerned about my family knowing.
You may not think a tribe name is sufficient enough to identify someone and it is true to an extent.
But Tribe name + current location + home province + age + small history about me is more than enough to suspect that the person is your nephew or cousin.
I can identify my tribe.
I just don't feel safe saying it to other afghans who know I am an Atheist that criticizes Islam & Muhammad.Last edited by Damir9000; 04-25-2016, 01:20 PM.

Yeah sure, family backlash, but you were citing Atheist bloggers gettting hacked in Bangladesh.....that's a far cry different if you're in Canada, most you'd get from family members is disappointment.
