That their legends and heroes which they rest their cultural idealisms on were without severe character flaws.

This is not hate for Pashtuns/Afghans but fair critique. Being Pashtun is full of hot air. We tell ourselves how brave and tough we are, when we're none of that. Our history is proof but we like to ignore the unsavory parts.

We're claiming Mahmoud Ghaznawi, who was a SALJUK TURK as an Afghan and we call him "our hero" even though he killed many Afghans, and Many Afghans joined and help him do it. He and his men were known for raping Indian women. What kind of hero is that?

Abdali did the same thing with the Marathas, what kind of hero does that?

Khushal died running away from his own son who was working for the Mughals to kill him

so don't get upset with me , get upset with your legacy.
First Khushal Khattak's son was not trying to kill his father, he was trying to arrest him just like Arengzeb arrested his own father. You Mental retard, if one kill his father, he cant win hearts and minds, even the idiot Arengzeb knew that.

But all leaders troops were involved in killing civilians and raping. From Cyrus to Alexander, from Ceasar to Chengis, from Stalin to Moa, Wasington to Lincoln, The british Royals to Ghandi. These people were not prophets nor is anyone claiming they were as you claim you are a prophet(sign of mental illness).

So what kind of a hero are you who promotes the idea of nuking pashtuns? A hero for the mentally insane perhaps?

Like Kushal said, All the rulers had done something bad. That's how you gain control of land. From the mongols to raping women, the Europeans to slaughtering millions of natives, and even to the Durranis of raping of Indian women. Of course this is something we should not be proud of. But it happened.

BTW Khushal Khattak's son did not try to kill him.

Pull out your swords and slay anyone that says Pashtun and Afghan are not one. Arabs know this and so do Romans: Afghans are Pashtuns and Pashtuns are Afghans!

Khushal Khan Khattak (1613–1689) was a prominent Afghan(pashtun) poet, warrior, charismatic personality and tribal chief of the Khattak tribe of the Afghans. He is the first Afghan mentor who presents his theories for the unity of the Afghan resistance against the foreign parts, and the creation of a nation-state.

This guy is mentally ill. He goes into a tilly tantrum when you put a wrench into his self proclaimed logical argument. He has praised Abdali and Khushal Khattak in the past, he has even claimed that if Abdali was alive today, he would execute Omar Hotak on the spot. He praises them when it suits his argument.

This whole argument started when he was arguing from the stand point that the TTP are ISI created and nurtured and are directly controlled by them therefore they are foreign slaves. I stated that Abdali and Khushal Khattak were nurtured by the regimes that they destroyed, this put a wrench into his logical argument and he went bizerk and did not know how to respond so he attacked Abdali and labeled him as a Persian slave who was a traitor to Pashtuns and Khushal Khattak as a Moghul bitch because his ego would not allow him to concede. His ego has forced him into a mental delusion where logic and retardation is switched around.

because it seems to me you only accept something as good evidence if it sounds flattering to the pashtun ethnic egotism.

You're one of those Pashtuns who'll reject something as evidence it's singing nothing but praise for Pashtun legacy.

                              biased and in denial.

I am still proud of our history leaders like a few millions more but you are just a hater.

I know the bad backgrounds of our leaders but that doesn take away the fact that they were our proud leaders.

there are plenty books which have some critics on afghans/pashtuns http://www.afghan-web.com/books/books.html
but i see nowhere stated pashtuns are useless or that our leaders world wide bad people, i mean u are insulting thats what i mean forget the damn facts. ;D
