i can't wait for tajikistans abdullah abdullah missile, with a payload of 160 pounds and a range of 5 feet 9 inches.
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

"Own'? Sher shah suri was an ethnic afghan pashtun born in INDIA. NOT Pakistan.

Pakistan is a new state, it does not have any heros unless you could come up with ones in the past 60 years.

no they do not, I think they have to be dead, so bhutto would qualify now if they choose.

basically what he is saying is that.. these are historical names.. who taught hindustanis a lesson and gave them hard time.. which is why we have chosen it for our missiles..

in all fairness Ghaznawi was a Turk, and Ghauri possibly a Tajik, Afghans claiming them is equally dishonest just because they inhabited in a region now known as Afghanistan does not mean they're Afghans in our sense

                          39ers!

The pakdefence think tank should use names like badmash I, or jhelum or multan or even char so bis especially if it is against their arch nemesis. Or gabar as in gabar sing.

Seriously, like the rev mentions the ownership is not exclusive. Imagine a venn diagram with afghans, Persians, moghuls and turks, with intersection set consisting of nader, ghauri abdali chingez, and taimur.

Just about every Tajik I know considers himself an Afghan.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

Pakistan is a country with no culture, history or heroes. I would not mind them using our heroes, if they admitted they were Afghan. I heard some stupid pakis use ghaznavi or durrani as PAKISTANI "/&*&*ç HEROES and I explained them why they were Afghan and not paki, but they seemed to be so ashamed that I said that infront of all other people that they never talked to me again.
