Pazabawal?Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.
A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai
For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."
The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

Hi
Can someone please translate the title of this article (not the entire article, just title)
??????????? - ?BBC Pashto? - ????? ?? ???? ?? ?????? ??? ????? ??????
Gazni ke nkhti ow bombari marg jobla arwali ?????
What is the difference between jobal and tap (injured/wound)?

It means that Clashes and bombardments in Ghazni inflicted casualties.
مرګ ژوبله / ژوبلې (ور ) اوول is an idiomatic expression and means to inflict casualties.
Some dictionaries says that that تپ and ژوبله are synonyms but I don't know the exact difference.Last edited by یاسمینه; 04-04-2013, 11:18 AM.دلته دم او قدم دواړه په حساب دي - پل په لاره غلط مه ږده بې حسابه

2 jan, first, let me clarify something: ژوبل means wounded (adjective);
ژوبله means wound (noun). You can also use زخم or in certain cases - تپ
So your sentence is:
formal: ستاسو ژوبلې له وخت سره به جوړې شي
informal: ستا ژوبلې له وخت سره به جوړې شيLast edited by یاسمینه; 04-05-2013, 07:34 AM.دلته دم او قدم دواړه په حساب دي - پل په لاره غلط مه ږده بې حسابه

I am not Admin Khan, but I will tryOriginally posted by Hallo View Postwell interact with somebody for example two people are interacting
She interacts with her:
هغه له هغې سره معامله کوي / معامله لري
So to interact with somebody is: له ... سره معامله کول / لرل
(simplified speeling is maamela).
Sometimes you can see this version: ماملهLast edited by یاسمینه; 04-05-2013, 12:10 PM.دلته دم او قدم دواړه په حساب دي - پل په لاره غلط مه ږده بې حسابه
