Again, in essence, you have agreed with me. It is not as simple as it seems. Even those ahadith you mentioned have to be closely verified.

Now, once that thief has had its hands chopped off, who takes care of him?
Islam will prevail, a promise made by the Creator of this universe:

[61:8] They desire to extinguish the light of Allah with the breath of their mouths, but Allah will perfect His light, even if the disbelievers hate it.

well for specialisation and deep knowledge we have always the scholars, but those scholars cannot base their judgements on their own opinions, so they will have to be based on the sources.

The basis teachings of Islam should be and can be known and understood by every muslim. Every muslim can understand the main message of the quran. But of course not every muslim can do ijtihad and is in a position of authority. But those verses that I posted in the first post and on which you commented, those are understood by every muslim. Those were self-explanatory and that was also proven from the tafseer. So the whole point to begin with was that what the sufi's and other sects do is contrary to those clear verses, I have proven that. So I was right and you were wrong.

I had posted those verses about Following the Forefathers - A Suspicion of the Polytheists.

You said that the verses of the holy quran must be taken in view of the other verses, no picking and choosing, although that statement is correct by itself, but you were implying that those verses that I had posted has actually another meaning or that they didn't apply to the practice of many sufi's and heretics on this forum and elsewhere that they follow blindly the way of their forefathers, tribe, society etc. As a matter of fact those verses clearly apply also to these persons, because always when someone comes and calls the misguided and heretics to monotheism and worship of one God, the misguided, hypocrites and unbelievers use the excuse and argument that they are just following the way of their forefathers and so they won't change their tradition or way of life.

And I said afterwards that the majority if not all the verses of the Quran are very clear and every human beings is capable of understanding them, you disagreed with that. That is not correct. Of course the laymen don't know the intricate details of fiqh etc. But I was talking about the main message of the Quran and sunnah.

I advice you to study the Quran better and with the help of authentic sources, like the hadiths. Because you are the one who is picking and choosing and not me. You are also following your desires, it should be other way around, you should adjust yourself and your desires to the teachings of Islam.

Without a doubt the Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) and the sahaba's had the most clean and puriefied bodies and hearts, and that is why the Sufia Kiram is following in their footsteps. Now lets see if the Sahabah did what the Sufia Kiram practice today:

                  Sufis practice Zikr.

                  Sahabah practiced Zikr too:

                  Narrated Abu Ma’bad:
(the freed slave of Ibn ‘Abbas) Ibn ‘Abbas told me, “In the lifetime of the Prophet it was the custom to celebrate Allah’s praises aloud after the compulsory congregational prayers.” Ibn ‘Abbas further said, “When I heard the Dhikr, I would learn that the compulsory congregational prayer had ended.”( Sahih Bukhari
                  Volume 1, Book 12, Number 802)

Sufis kiss the hands of the pious people.

Sahabah also kissed the hands of the pious people:

Bukhari in al-Adab al-mufrad also relates with a sound chain that Suhayb the freedman of al-`Abbas saw Sayyidna `Ali kiss the hand and feet of the Prophet's uncle al-`Abbas and said to him: "O Uncle! Be pleased with me." al-Muqri' also narrates it through Sulayman ibn Ayyub and through a third chain from his shaykh al-Tahawi in al-Rukhsa fi taqbil al-yad (p. 73 #13, p. 76 #15).

Imam Bukhari made a whole chapter about this in his collection to show the permissiability of :

**Kissing of the Hands & Feet** Imam Bukhari Adad-al-Mufrad

                  Sufis dance .

                  Sahabah also danced:

It is narrated by Anas (R.A) that the Habashis were presenting their art in front of the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) and “THEY WERE DANCING (Yarqasun)” while saying: Muhammadun Abdun Salih (i.e. Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم the righteous slave). The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) asked: What are they saying? They said: Muhammadun Abdun Salih [Musnad Ahmed bin Hanbal, Volume No.3, Page no. 152]

Sheikh Shu’ayb al Ar'anut said after this hadith:

                  إسناده صحيح على شرط مسلم

Translation: The Chain is “SAHIH” on the criteria of “(SAHIH) MUSLIM” [ibid 3/152]

Note: This hadith explicitly uses the word "RAQS” which proves without any shadow of doubt that It was dancing, however the Anti-Sufi people cite the hadith of Bukhari which only mentions “PLAYING”

Some people claim that this above hadith is only understood from hadith of Bukhari which mentions Abyssinians or Ethiopians "PLAYING WITH SPEARS" inside the Prophet's mosque. Now our reply to them is the same i.e. the hadith of Bukhari is understood from the hadith of Musnad Ahmed which is Sahih on criteria of Sahih Muslim, hence both playing and Raqs become allowed, If they are truthful then they should come with proof from hadith which mentions that Raqs is “EXCLUDED” from this. Therefore Alhamdolillah both ahadith go in favour of Sufis.

Hadrat Ali (ra) said: I went to the Prophet (salallaho alaihi wasalam) with Jafar (RA) and Zayd (ra), The Prophet (saw) said to Zayd: You are my freedman (anta Mawlay), “AT THIS ZAYD BEGAN TO HOP ON ONE LEG (HAJALA) AROUND THE PROPHET” then the Prophet (saw) said to Jafar (ra): You resemble me in my creation and my manners, at this Jafar also began to hop behind Zayd, then the Prophet (saw) said to Ali (ra): You are from me and I am from you, at this he also started to hop behind Jafar. [Musnad Ahmed bin Hanbal 1:537 #857]

Sufis visit the graves of the pious ones.

Sahabah used to visit also the Pious ones:

It is narrated from Dawud bin Abu Salih. He says: one day Marwan came and he saw that a man was lying down with his mouth turned close to the Prophet’s grave. Then he (Marwan) said to him, “Do you know what are you doing?” When he moved towards him, he saw that it was Abu Ayyub al-Ansari. (In reply) he said, “Yes (I know) I have come to the Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) and not to a stone. I have heard it from the Messenger of God (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) not to cry over religion when its guardian is competent. Yes, shed tears over religion when its guardian is incompetent.

►Hakim declared it "SAHIH" while Dhahabi also "AGREED" with his authentication [Hakim, al-Mustadrak Volume 004: Hadith Number 515]

The list of the practices that Sufis do and are the same as Sahabahs practice , is very long, but just to show that we do not do anything that the Sahabah never did , I think this would be sufficient enough that we are following the footsteps of Sahabah.

I only created jinn and man to worship Me. (Qur'an, 51:56)

In the life of this world, Allah created man for a single purpose: to serve Him by living by His precepts. For those who wish to be a servant to Him, He sent down the Qur'an as a book of guidance:

It (the Qur'an) is a Book We have sent down to you, full of blessing, so let people of intelligence ponder its Signs and take heed. (Qur'an, 38:29)
The Qur'an is not a book that consists solely of lawful and unlawful deeds; it covers a wide range of subjects, including descriptions pertaining to moral perfection, various characteristics of human beings, all situations and circumstances that are likely to occur in this life, information related to the life of this world and the hereafter, fear of God, love for Him, the ways to attain the good pleasure of God, etc. In brief, the Qur'an is a book that consists of all the information that man may need throughout his life. It is the Book the Creator has sent to the created and it will remain as the sole guide for humanity until the Day of Judgement.

Those who are ignorant of the Qur'an and have prejudices regarding it assume that it only refers to the past and thus is irrelevant to our time. Contrary to the assumptions of these people, however, the Qur'an is not a book that only describes events that happened 1,400 years ago. It is a guide to humanity that informs man about events that happen in all ages, and about the Day of Judgment that puts an end to the life of this world.
A believer who becomes aware of the importance and indispensability of the Qur'an to his life must have a good knowledge of the Qur'an so that he can conduct his entire life in line with the principles of the Qur'an and thus serve God as is due. This book is prepared to strengthen the knowledge of the Qur'an for those who wish to get to know Allah, who are willing to meticulously perform their duties as servants of Allah, reorient their lives in line with the values of the Qur'an and make attaining the good pleasure, mercy and Paradise of Allah their main objective.

IT IS A GUIDE AND A WARNING FOR MANKIND

Say: 'What thing is greatest as a witness?' Say: 'Allah. He is Witness between me and you. This Qur'an has been revealed to me so that I may warn you by it, and anyone else it reaches. Do you then bear witness that there are other gods together with Allah?' Say: 'I do not bear witness.' Say: 'He is only One God, and I am free of all you associate with Him.' (Qur'an, 6:19)
It (the Qur'an) is a reminder for the heedful. (Qur'an, 69:48)
This (the Qur'an) is a communication to be transmitted to mankind so that they may be warned by it and so that they will know that He is One God and so that people of intelligence will pay heed. (Qur'an, 14:52)
We have made things clear in this Qur'an so that they might pay heed, but it only makes them run away the more! (Qur'an, 17:41)
It (the Qur'an) is a Book We have sent down to you, full of blessing, so let people of intelligence ponder its Signs and take heed. (Qur'an, 38:29)
But (We have revealed it) only as a reminder for those who guard against evil. (Qur'an, 20:3)
This (the Qur'an) is a clear explanation for all mankind, and guidance and admonition for those who guard against evil. (Qur'an, 3:138)
We have sent down Clear Signs to you and the example of those who passed away before you and an admonition for those who guard against evil. (Qur'an, 24:34)
This (the Qur'an) is a Book We have sent down and blessed, confirming what came before it, so that you can warn the Mother of Cities (Makka) and the people around it. Those who believe in the hereafter believe in it and safeguard their prayer. (Qur'an, 6:92)
No indeed! It (the Qur'an) is truly a reminder to which anyone who wills may pay heed. (Qur'an, 74:54-55)

                        IT IS CLEAR AND EXPLICIT

We have made it (the Qur'an) easy on your tongue so that you can give good news to those who guard against evil and warn stubbornly hostile people by it. (Qur'an, 19:97)
'Am I to desire someone other than Allah as a judge when it is He Who has sent down the Book to you clarifying everything?' Those We have given the Book know it has been sent down from your Lord with truth, so on no account be among the doubters. (Qur'an, 6:114)
In this way We have sent it (the Qur'an) down as Clear Signs. Allah guides anyone He wills. (Qur'an, 22:16)
Allah makes the Signs clear to you and Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise. (Qur'an, 24:18)

ITS VERSES ARE ALL MADE CLEAR

In that way We make the Signs plain so that you may clearly see the path of the evildoers. (Qur'an, 6:55)
It is He Who has appointed the stars for you so you might be guided by them in the darkness of the land and sea. We have made the Signs clear for people who have knowledge. (Qur'an, 6:97)
This is the path of your Lord- straight. We have made the Signs clear for people who remember. (Qur'an, 6:126)
Say: 'He possesses the power to send you punishment from above your heads or from beneath your feet, or to confuse you in sects and make you taste one another's violence.' Look how We vary the Signs so that hopefully they will understand. (Qur'an, 6:65)
Alif, Lam, Ra. A Book whose verses are perfectly constructed, and then demarcated, coming directly from One Who is All-Wise, All-Aware. (Qur'an, 11:1)

                        IT BAFFLES THE DISBELIEVERS

We send down in the Qur'an that which is a healing and a mercy to the believers, but it only increases the wrongdoers in loss. (Qur'an, 17:82)
We have only appointed angels as masters of the Fire and We have only specified their number as a trial for those who do not believe; so that those who were given the Book might gain in certainty, and those who believe might increase in their faith, and both those who were given the Book and the believers might have no doubt; and so that those with sickness in their hearts and the unbelievers might say, 'What did Allah intend by this example?' In this way Allah misguides those He wills and guides those He wills. No one knows the legions of your Lord but Him. This is nothing but a reminder to all human beings. (Qur'an, 74:31)

My brother, please don't insult my intelligence. I could throw so many verses at you that you would not be able to answer.

What you are doing is to say that your understanding is firmly grounded and everyone else who disagrees with you is wrong. Don't do this, it is very arrogant.

worshipping Allah (swt) is not only a private matter, worshipping Allah (swt) also means that a muslim society has to implement all the laws of allah (swt) in the society, the shariah laws. It also means that you should defend your faith and people when you are attacked. Worshipping also means that you should establish an islamic state. Worshipping Allah (swt) also encompasses implementing his laws in public, financial, economical, legal, political, social, judicial spheres of life. It is also implementing the hudud on the criminals. Rejecting all the false idols and taghoot (persons) and gods, besides allah (swt). Wala wal bara. calling to the good and the prohibiton of evil. etc. All these these are part of worshipping of Allah (swt). We as muslims cannot pick and choose the things in islam we like and conform to our standard of life and expediency, comfort. No that is not submission to God. One had to completely submit himself to Him, otherwise you are an unbeliever or hypocrite.
