I haven't heard of this system, sounds like the 12 imams of shias. I don't believe in some sufis sheikhs controlling the world...Allah and his messenger know best.

The below organogram specified by sufis is self conceived and might exist in Plato's "Alam-e- Misaal" or in their dreams only not in the real world.

Which idiot amongst these is controlling Pakistan? I need to talk to him on issues of mutual interest.

I am starting to belive that you are also one of those "whabis" in here who has it in for the Friends of Allah. But its your loss . Allah clearly mentions in Hadith Qudsi:

"Allah said, 'I will declare war against him who shows hostility to a pious worshipper (walî) of Mine. And the most beloved things with which My slave comes nearer to Me, is what I have enjoined (frD) upon him; and My slave keeps on coming closer to Me through performing nawâfil (praying or doing extra deeds besides what is obligatory) till I love him, so I become his sense of hearing with which he hears, and his sense of sight with which he sees, and his hand with which he grips, and his leg with which he walks; and if he asks Me, I will give him, and if he asks My protection (Refuge), I will protect him; (i.e. give him My Refuge) and I do not hesitate to do anything as I hesitate to take the soul of the believer, for he hates death, and I hate to disappoint him."
Narrated by Abu Huraira (Radi Allahu ta'ala anhu) in Bukhari, vol8, Hadith 509

You probably missed on how Khomeini was digraced by Allah ,because Khomeini was just like you showing hostility to the Friends of Allah:

The existance of Abdal,Abrars etc.. is a solid fact wich has been mentiond in many Hadiths. In fact the matter has been narrated by so many people that its has the highest autenticity. Who cares if you dont belive in them , Uleame Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamat has an ijma on this:

Bro ,read this thread of mine:

Kiramat (Miracles) Of AULIAE KIRAM ( Sufis)

This is proof beyond doubt that Aulia Kiram has powers beyond our understanding. Therefore there are people out there who are "friends of Allah" ,who has been given powers by Allah to control different things. One other Hadith you should also ponder over:

Ali (Radhi Allahu anhu) has narrated that Nabi صلي الله عليه و سلم has said, “Abdaals will be in Syria. They are forty men. Every time one of them passes away, Allah replaces him with another. Through them does the rain descend and you gain victory over your enemies. It is also because of them that punishment is averted from the people of Syria.” (Narrated by Imam Ahmad in his Musnad and Fadhaail as Sahabah, Allamah Abdur Razzaq, Allamah Dhiyah al Maqdasy and others. Allamah Suyuti, Busairi and others said that the chain is authentic)

Study the Quran, then you won't make such ignorant and unislamic statements. It is a grave sin what you guys are doing. It is leading to polytheism, a sin which will not be forgiven by god. So repent, before it is too late. Everything is in the hands of Allah (swt) almighty. Everyone will be born and die at an appointed time, nobody can bring you any benefit or harm, without the permission of Allah (swt). If you have tawakul (trust) on Allah (swt) and stay on the truth and have imaan and do good deed, you will be succesful in this life and inshallah go to paradise. Islam has come to free the humanity from every slavery, to other people, to money, to other gods etc. We should only worship the One God and put our trust in him only.

Even some prophets (the real awliyaa of allah (swt)) died and lost some battles. They couldn't do anything without the permission of Allah (swt), so how can you say that other non-prophet people are capable of those things you attribute to them, this is indeed against logic and against the teachings of Islam. Only very ignorant and hypocrites will say things like that.

You are saying this stuff just because your Daddy is a Sufi sheikh as you said so in another thread.

The son of Sikh Guru wont go around claiming his dad is not a guru. So I dont expect a son of a Sufi sheikh ever having the ability to follow quran and sunnah. Because you will be disobeying your father.

Following the Forefathers - A Suspicion of the Polytheists

                Shaykh Saleh al-Fouzan

An Explanation of the Truth of Monotheism as Set Forth by All the Prophets and

a Refutation of the Suspicions Raised About it

                © 1990 IIASA

A common suspicion of past and contemporary people is that they have inherited these practices from their ancestors. About them, Allah the Almighty said:
Just in the same way, whenever We sent a warner (i.e. a messenger who calls to the worship of Allah the Almighty) before you to any people, the wealthy ones among them said, "We found our fathers following a certain religion, and we will certainly follow in their footsteps." [43:23]

Those who cannot produce any proof for their plea resort to this type of invalid argument. That, of course, is reasonable. How can they be sure that their ancestors were right? Then again, why should they blindly follow their ancestors' footsteps? Allah the Almighty said, "When it is said to them, follow what Allah has revealed, they say, No! We shall follow the way of our fathers. What! Even though their fathers were void of wisdom and guidance?" [5:104]

Also, "Even if their fathers knew nothing and were astray?" [2:170] To follow the footsteps of fathers is commendable if they were on the right path. Concerning Joseph (peace be upon him), Allah the Almighty said: "And I follow the ways of my fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob: Never could we attribute any partners whatsoever to Allah; that comes of the grace of Allah to us and to mankind, yet most men are ungrateful." [12:38] Allah also said, "And those who believe and whose families follow them in faith, to them shall We join their families." [52:21]
Suspicion was always raised by people in answer to the call of Prophets. The people replied to the call of Noah (peace be upon him), as we notice in the Holy Quran, "We sent Noah to his people, he said, "O my people worship Allah, you have no other god but Him. Will you not fear Him?"
The unbelievers among his people said, "He is no more than a man like yourselves; his wish is to assert his superiority over you. If Allah had wished to send messengers, He could have sent down angels. Never did we hear such a thing as he says among our ancestors of old.
                " [23:23-4]

The unbelievers wanted to take the practice of their ancestors against the commands of Allah which were presented to them by their Prophets (peace be upon them). As Allah the Almighty stated in the Holy Quran: The people of Saleh said, "Do you forbid us to worship of what our fathers worshipped?" [11:62]

The people of Shu`aib said, as Allah pointed out in the Holy Quran: "Does your religion of prayers command you that we leave whatever our forefathers used to worship?" [11:87] The people of Abraham, after they were silenced by argument, said, as stated in the Holy Quran, "...We worship idols and we remain constantly in attendance on them. (Abraham) said, "Do they listen to you when you call on them or they do you good or harm?" They said, "Nay, but we found our fathers doing so."" [26:70-4]

Pharaoh said to Moses, as Allah demonstrated in the Holy Quran, "...What then is the condition of previous generations." [20:51]. Who were before you and did the same thing by following the footprints of their parents. Look what happened to them. Thus unbelievers, have been opposing the truth with weak and foolish arguments.

Verses of the Holy Quran must be taken in view of other verses: no picking and choosing.
Islam will prevail, a promise made by the Creator of this universe:

[61:8] They desire to extinguish the light of Allah with the breath of their mouths, but Allah will perfect His light, even if the disbelievers hate it.

[61:9] He it is Who has sent His Messenger with the guidance and the Religion of truth, that He may cause it to prevail over all religions, even if those who associate partners with God hate it.

Those verses are as clear as daylight and even if you understand the context, when you read the tafseer, the meaning is still even more reinforced. I advice you to read any tafseer of those verses, and you will find the same meaning and content.

For example the following is the tafseer of one of those verses by the classical scholar Ibn Kathir:

                    The Idolators have no Proof

Allah condemns the idolators for worshipping others instead of Allah with no evidence or proof for doing so.
(Or have We given them any Book before this) means, before their idolatry.
(to which they are holding fast) means, with regard to what they are doing. This is not the case. This is like the Ayah:
                    [أَمْ أَنزَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ سُلْطَـناً فَهُوَ يَتَكَلَّمُ بِمَا كَانُواْ بِهِ يُشْرِكُونَ ]
(Or have We revealed to them an authority (a Scripture), which speaks of that which they have been associating with Him) (30:35) meaning, that did not happen. Then Allah says:
(Nay! They say: "we found our fathers following a certain way and religion (Ummah), and we guide ourselves by their footsteps.'') meaning, they have no grounds for their belief in idolatry apart from the fact that they are imitating their fathers and forefathers who were following a certain Ummah or way, i.e., religion. The word Ummah is used in a similar manner elsewhere, where Allah says:
                    [إِنَّ هَـذِهِ أُمَّتُكُمْ أُمَّةً وَاحِدَةً]
                    (And verily, this your religion (Ummah) is one religion) (23:52), and they said;
                    [وَإِنَّا عَلَى ءَاثَـرِهِم]
(and we by their footsteps) means, behind them
(We guide ourselves) This is their claim with no evidence. Then Allah points out that what these people say was already said by those who were like them among the nations of the past who disbelieved in the Messengers. Their hearts and their words are similar.
(Likewise, no Messenger came to those before them but they said: "A sorcerer or a madman!'' Have they transmitted this saying to these Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds!) (51:52-53) And Allah says here:
                    [وَكَذَلِكَ مَآ أَرْسَلْنَا مِن قَبْلِكَ فِى قَرْيَةٍ مِّن نَّذِيرٍ إِلاَّ قَالَ مُتْرَفُوهَآ إِنَّا وَجَدْنَآ ءَابَآءَنَا عَلَى أُمَّةٍ وَإِنَّا عَلَى ءَاثَـرِهِم مُّقْتَدُونَ ]
(And similarly, We sent not a warner before you to any town (people) but the luxurious ones among them said: "We found our fathers following a certain way and religion, and we will indeed follow their footsteps.'') Then He says:
(Say) -- `O Muhammad, to these idolators --'
("Even if I bring you better guidance than that which you found your fathers following'' They said: "Verily, we disbelieve in that with which you have been sent.'') `Even if they were convinced of the truth of what you have brought to them, they will not follow it, because of their evil intentions and their arrogance towards the truth and its people.'
(So We took revenge on them) means, on the disbelieving nations, by inflicting various kinds of punishments, as Allah has described in the stories of those nations.
(then see what was the end of those who denied) means, see what became of them, how they were destroyed and how Allah saved the believers.

                    (26. And (remember) when Ibrahim said to his father and his people: "Verily, I am innocent of what you worship,'') (27. "Except Him Who created me; and verily, He will guide me.'') (28. And he made it a word lasting among his offspring, that they may turn back.) (29. Nay, but I gave to these and their fathers to enjoy, till there came to them the truth, and a Messenger making things clear.) (30. And when the truth came to them, they said: "This is magic, and we disbelieve therein.'') (31. And they say: "Why is not this Qur'an sent down to some great man of the two towns'') (32. Is it they who would portion out the mercy of your Lord It is We Who portion out between them their livelihood in this world, and We raised some of them above others in ranks, so that some may employ others in their work. But the mercy of your Lord is better than what they amass.) (33. And were it not that mankind would have become of one community, We would have provided for those who disbelieve in the Most Gracious, silver roofs for their houses, and elevators whereby they ascend,) (34. And for their houses, doors, and thrones on which they could recline,) (35. And adornments of gold. Yet all this would have been nothing but an enjoyment of this world. And the Hereafter with your Lord is for those who have Taqwa.)

Tassawuf is not entirely the way those who are against it describe it.

Please have some intellectual honesty and self-respect and stop with these blatant lies that you guys are spreading. It is really a shame for your own intellect. I cannot believe that you yourself not know that you are either ignorant, deluded or lying. Just the term or concept "tawasuf" implies that it is a foreign and innovated concept or idea in Islam. You cannot find it in the quran or the hadiths. Everything that is needed and that is good for a human being can already be found in those sources, so we don't need anyone to come with new concepts, terms and innovations in the religion, which have absolutely nothing to do with the religion that the prophet (pbuh) came with. The sahaba's and the prophet (pbuh) had the most clean and puriefied bodies and hearts, but they never practiced the things that the sufi's practice. That that the Islam of the prophet is by itself perfect and leads to succes and welbeing and purification of the soul and the heart. If you understand and apply the quran and sunnah in your life that is enough. We don't need other people to add or substract from this religion. If you still want to continue with your sect or cult, then Allah (swt), the prophet (pbuh) and the real muslims have nothing to do with you and you have to account for your major sins and even unbelief on the day of judgment and of you trying to bring others to your false way of life. May Allah (swt) guide you all to the true religion of Islam, ameen.

I don't agree with the way some Sufis behave but the idea of tasawwuf is not alien to Islam.

If it is not alien to islam, it mean that there is already such an idea within islam, so why do we then need to call it tasawuf and start a whole new sect with hierarchy and practices. If it is already within islam, then we just have to practice Islam in its entirety (quran and sunnah) and that's it.

I agree with you, however, going back to the golden age (salafeeism) is not that simple. The Quran is not that simple to be taken literal.
