Isn't IT futile to ascribe physical features on non-physical entitites?

Light is a physical entitity, it's limited by the physical laws of the universe. Light, while very fast, Isn't really that fast considering the vastness of space and time. IT takes 8 minutes for the Light particles from the sun to reach your eyes.

When you observe distant stars, and galaxies, you are potentially looking at light particles that are millions/billions of years "old" once they reach your eyes.

Non-physical entitites by definition do not need to be defined and limited by the physical laws of the universe.

But when it comes to Angels having wings. The Prophet (PBUH) saw gabriel (PBUH) with 600 wings. and he (PBUH) rode with him in Mi'raj.
we can clearly answer this, No God's not a human being, the "hand" is something used to relate the concept of action and movement.

The wings are just things that relate to being able to travel through seemingly enumerable states. I mean 600 wings? Why 600?

Let's stop being brain dead please, not even early Muslims thought this way.

Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

You're moving towards a grey area to to fit your intellect by doubting the words of the Prophet (Peace be upon him). We all know his (PBUH) signs of the minor hour have all been extremely accurate but your doubting ideas you think are riduclous. I don't know about that.

The existence of thyself is more doubtful than the existence of God. All the atheists out there can't even prove their own existence. The best Descartes could come up with was "I think therefore I am" and he even concluded the "I think" needed an extra premise.

            Mahmoud,

What is your opinion on the numerical miracles of the Qu'ran? I have been watching a few debates with Dr. Shabir Ally Vs. Richard Lucas (Link below).

              It's a bit hoaky.

exactly, they take for granted a-priori their existence based on cognizance. But I say ...fine, let's agree on that premise, then we can extand cognizance as central to existence itself, otheriwse we couldn't take it apriori. Hence, if consciousness is a prerequisite to know something exists, then cognizance becomes a condition for existing, and thus Consciousness causes existence. so it exists apriori. God is a consciousness that causes existence, so God exists.

Took the words out of my mouth. Her not covering her hair is the least of my worries. the rest of what she projects is what worries me.

Sure. I have even seen Russian prostitutes at the metro station back in Moscow more than 25 years ago.

I've also seen quite a few here on the streets and in hotel lobbies here. What's your point?
