weldone we should be proud on our ancestors and it should be in our appearance and inner as well. both are equally necessary.
but i would like to say something about the topic that dont follow such threads, actually these monsters do such things deliberately. They leave a topic and then go away and we start fighting with each others.

the point is that some pakistani guy here was condoning the torture by Paki army and he said he would do the same if ordered and he says he is pukhtun.Originally posted by KingKhan View PostWhat is the point having a burned Pakistani flag in your sig?
untill he apologises for what he said the flag stays

By the way the present nurqa or chaddri is not arab thing it was brought by uzbecs and other turkik races to afghanistan after the soviet occupied their land and the women were forced to remove the chaddris.
i have this interesting video on 1969 soviet movie, just go to 08:10 to see some of those chaddris, it was long before the taliban. YouTube - White Sun of the Desert - 1/8Last edited by afghan; 03-04-2011, 10:16 PM.

I just dont like when assumptions are being made, when they have not seen themselves, just like you said.
**People also have to understand that Kabul City was always known as a modernization city in Afghanistan.....i mean just look at the photos from 50's-70's many women were not wearing head coverings at all! they were wearing skirts, etc. It was known as the 'Paris City of Afghanistan.' Ohhhh and yes, it wasnt just Tajiks that were wearing them. And then again, chadari has been in Kabul and is still today. Its a fact.
One reason was simply as a disguise. Kabul City is well a city....there are plenty of different kind of people and women felt uncomfortable walking around the city without a chadari.

why do you bully people online. Its a forum for educational purposes, not some gladiator theater where you get to play Boss. You have severe issues.
I don't read your posts at all. I really mean that. There is not one post of yours that is ever interesting, funny, or intellectual. You are always insulting people, and it is disturbing to say the least.
are you talking to me?? if so then i didn't bully anyone. i spoke the truth and if that makes someone feel small, unworthy and unappreciated then i am pleased with myself because such individuals need to where they stand. that this is 21th century and what your father and ancestors did does not get to help you get your way out of life with out putting much of yourself in it.
it's good to be proud of what you are but don't express that pride by trashing others. you ****ers were born in uk and america, i lived in kabul while it was being bombed from 5 different directions. i will not have some teenaged royal assed kid speak ill of it for me.

first of all, you deleted your post right above my answer. secondly, what did i say that made you sob so badly?? i am glad you don't give a crap about people like me because with your type of an ignorant attitude, you are bound to meet a lot of us and instead of weeping like that, it would be nice to see you not give a damn and bear the consequences of shyt you speak in ignorance.Originally posted by kakargirl View Posti never spoke ill of kabul and people like you i dont give crap about , but when it comes to my ancestory i wont stand by and listen i'm more patriotic towards afghanistan so dont twist words and make lies up . and to laila i have family in kabul i have seen it a few years i just dont plaster things all over the forum, now this is my last post im leaving for good dance both you run the forum do what you please the royal pain is out .
don't you ever expect me to feel bad for you by threatening to leave the forum because of me. it would make me feel very very good not to have to see you and a few others in here as often as i do.

the men too were naked, a one big naked orgy tawaf, allah is great. actually the god they prayed to was also called allah - the arab moon god.Originally posted by Dreamer View Postno .. pre islamic arab women would often circumabulate the kabba for example near naked.... The veil in terms of religious usage started with the jews.... continued but abandoned today by the Christians and then with the muslims
as far as covering oneself, even the hindu nobility had to cover itself. The peasants on the other hand, well that is another story.
