Soviet Union didn't dare cross the Durand Line? Hahahahahaha. Brother, had the Soviet Union invaded Pakistan, the resistance they would have faced would no way have been the same as the Afghan resistance. I would bet my house on that. You people in Karachi and Lahore and Islamabad would have been speaking Russian now.
Have you seen this documentary ? The secret Pakistan ?

Secret Pakistan - Documentary by BBC Part 1 on Vimeo

It basically says taliban are alive because Pakistan gave them a chance post 9/11 otherwise they would have been dead within days . They are alive today because they get support from ISI . Remove the Pakistan factor and lets see how many days these people survive

Nobody is justifying terrorism but if Pakistan has turned Afghanistan into a province than am not going to apologise for that . That's how International politics works .

You cant just say "Our economy is growing" that doesnt mean anything in academic terms. You could be growing and still falling into more debt. 5.5% growth of an economy does not mean it is getting 5.5% richer.

But ok lets just pretend the national debt is not going up for a second. Basic mathematical question here - how long would it take to clear $64,000,000,000??. lol ok dont answer. That debt is going to be doubled with china adding another 64 Billion after completion of CPEC - Pakistan is doomed. Debt slaves right at the bottom of the pyramid you are not going anywhere.
You should understand the concept of debt before commenting . Simple google search will help you . Having a debt doesn't mean you are doomed . Japan is one of the developed countries in the world but currently has the highest Debt as % of GDP .

As for our economy I would let the leading economists do the talking .

        Pakistan | Credit Rating

These are some of the leading economists in the world

Standard & Poor's credit rating for Pakistan stands at B with stable outlook. Moody's credit rating for Pakistan was last set at B3 with stable outlook. Fitch's credit rating for Pakistan was last reported at B with stable outlook. In general, a credit rating is used by sovereign wealth funds, pension funds and other investors to gauge the credit worthiness of Pakistan thus having a big impact on the country's borrowing costs.

Hence, justifying terrorism, which makes Pakistan more corrupt, you can only do terrorism precisely because you've failed at internatiomal politics,

Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

Brother thank Pakistan for saving your muhajir ass from Soviets. Mujahidin didn't even exist before Pakistan stepped in to arm afghanis and bring jihadis from all over the world to fight soviets. You lot are rightfully known as namak haram people. Soviets didn't cross because there is difference between invading nation with absolutely 0 military power and the one who have been fighting wars with nation 7 times bigger. Read about 1965 India invasion of Lahore and then come back.
I'm not a Muhajir. Nor am I an Afghan national. My people are not known as namak haram. Nor are my family, extended family, friends, or myself dependant an anyone alhamdulillah. You've made the wrong assumption.

Come out of your nationalist bubble and see the facts. Pakistan is not a respected country. A tin pot country like Afghanistan is giving the US a hard time like it did to every invader before them.

You mentioned foreign intervention against the USSR. Maybe some fighters across the globe did join the jihad but you will find the majority of the resistance were Afghans. Where was Pakistan in all the Anglo Afghan wars? Dude, Afghans will resist and fight to the end despite the odds like they've been doing for centuries. Would Pakistan do the same if it was invaded? Would average Pakistanis pick up theirs guns and fight if it came to an invasion?

If you travel out of Pakistan you will see that the image of Pakistan is extremely poor. It just simply is not respected at all and is not seen as a fighting nation at all by any standards.

Average Pakistani does not need to fight because we have a million strong army , One of the biggest airforces in the world and a decent sized navy to do all that for us . Also average Afghans are not fighting . Whoever told you this ? The one's that are fighting are Taliban's that are supported by Pakistan and Iran .

A tin pot country like Afghanistan is giving the US a hard time like it did to every invader before them.

Afghanistan was occupied in few weeks . The difficulty for Americans was the Pakistani security establishment support for the Proxies which kept the insurgency afloat .

You are basically a satellite state of Pakistan thrown around by ISI according to her wishes . As for terrorism , Afghanistan started it by instigating people in KP during the 60's and 70's . If you poke the bear enough you are going to get a bloody nose in return . • I don't think there is any comparison. Pakistan can provoke super powers and get away with it. Afghanistan rulers who don't have any control over their country get invaded because some terrorists are living there. It's one big ****ing joke. Pakistan slap Afghanistan every day on border and again no response.

See the difference? If some think foreign funded insurgency mean USA lost war then they are in denial. India alone has 26 insurgencies and all over the world likely thousands. Every 3rd world country has insurgencies for one reason or another.

Seriously a video from 2011 ? Really? lol You know you've failed to accomplish anything when you're posting out-dated videos.

If by tossing, you mean ISI tossing money to the Taliban even after they kill Pakistan's own soldiers; then you're doing a good job, otherwise, the "invisible hand" happens precisely because it lacks power to be the Visible Hand. The tribals would have never gotten support unless they wanted it themselves, This is what differs between Terrorism (Pakistan) and Self determination (The Tribals).

It is still happening . In Kandahar and Jalalabad Pakistani rupee is the cureency used for day to day dealings .By tossing around I mean controlling everything in Afghanistan . The vegetables and Fruits you eat , The prices are determined by Pakistan's mood on closing torkham whenever it wants .
