I play video games as well, but the thing is we ARE a South Asian ethnic group, why do you hate being called that? Even during ancient times we were notably located in, guess where? India. I hate how most people hate the word India or Indian. LOL. Also Khandahar if you've been there, I have is very hot, when I went I found it more hotter than Jalalabad.Yama Pukhtoon da Pukhtano sara zam.

*means harsh words in Pashto, right?Pashtuns are a Central Asian ethnic group not south asian. And since when were pashtuns located in India in ancient times? That is not our homeland.Originally posted by Khyber Pass View PostI play video games as well, but the thing is we ARE a South Asian ethnic group, why do you hate being called that? even pakistani punjabis hate the word India, even though they are indians
anyways, pashtuns are not (indic), however I think pashtuns can be considered a dividing groups between Iranids, Indics and central asians because they do share history and connection to all these these 3 areas. I think baloch are also a dividing group, especially between iranids/indics, though language wise both pashtun/baloch are considered IranianLast edited by Karachi; 07-14-2013, 01:36 AM.

There is still dispute on Pashtuns origins as a whole so there is no direct analysis available for what exactly the Pashtun people are, but as we can see from Past history and records by the Greek historians that there was a very similar tribe living in what they noted as India, with a similar name as Pactyans but like I said earlier there is not enough proof to prove that these nomads were the present day Pashtuns, and Pakistani Punjabi's are not all Indian, actually as an example the Jatts origins recently have been discovered to not be Indic at all. There exist many ethnicities in the Punjab, each with different origins, it's very sad to see a generalization on such a diverse population.Originally posted by Karachi View Posteven pakistani punjabis hate the word India, even though they are indians

Darkness does not matter as I said earlier it's because of the sun. Kids are born with thier real color and as they age they tan and tan and tan and their original color fades.
Men are usually dark as they tan but children and women are usually "fair".

Look at the Kalash man, The Kalash men average look like this, their women look "european" while their men ummm kinda indian.

Kalash men

Kalash women

there are more and more pictures. If these people happen to have lived in cacacus green mountains or in places where the weather is always cloudy and sun barely hits them They would all look "white" and fair. Sun makes them all tan.
Afghans look dark it's because they TAN, nothing more, their children are born white, their skin type denotes their tanning characteristic.

I'm on my vacation. I came here a long time ago and dissapeared and came back a year ago because of my studies.
If you happen to live with someone you acquire sympathy. if you were raised by africans you will be humble to them no matter what. You have been living in Panjab for ages, you have sympathy for them. You have learned to co-operate with them and have learned to stay together. If the same instance was bought as if you were born among africans you would not care being called an african if someone actually called you that. because you have been living with them and have acquired their sympathy. You don't care being called an Indian because you've been living in Panjabis for ages. And plus you haven't had exposure out of Panjab that much regarding how Pashtuns actually look like in person. You don't care being called an Indian but that doesnt mean other pashtuns do.Originally posted by Khyber Pass View PostLOL did this Baloch retard really just say my family integrated into Punjabi culture, because I lived in Punjab? You do know that even many Afghan kings grew up and were born in India, they did not integrate into the culture of the Indians, heck even Durrani's birth place is disputed one being Multan present day Pakistan. You yourself need to learn the history of Pashtuns and not every Pashtun was born in the Frontier, or Afghanistan, human migration has happened in Europe, in South America, everywhere, you can't just label someone as something just because of where they migrated too. I've been to KPK, better yet I have family there, I've met with many Pashtuns, many family friends are Pashtun, I've also met many Punjabis, notably Sikhs, I can tell you that their phenotype differs, but there is no doubt that there is a similarity in phenotype, watch this song, not only is it good it's awesome, and you can also see the many phenotypes as a whole that exist within Pashtuns.
anyways this is just for leisure and time pass. I will not stick much longer hair because of course studies will kick in.جی وا ترا بلوچ ، ذندان بلوچ ، کلو واتنییے

jatts are indians, just because they have a slightly higher level of non south asian genes, doesn't mean they are not indian, they still have a huge south asian component just like other south asians. also their culture/language is indian and over all they only make like 10-15% of punjab's population, what about the rest of punjabis? are they european
it's funny you are calling pashtuns (indians) and punjabis from somewhere else. seems like what the sikh nationalist (wahe guru or jatt apache) would say, who desperately wanted to be european

Actually, I do care about the Africans, the Europeans the North Americans and the list goes on because I have something called humanity in me, I don't hate on others just because their skin or their heritage is different than mine, such as you do, but in actuality one thing I will not acquire sympathy for; is the ignorant person, such as yourself, and also I have not been living in the Punjab for ages, my mother even tells me from her childhood she would spend very little time in the village and most of her time in Bannu, and also I would like to say that once again you're wrong, I have had exposure out side of the Punjab, I've actually also been to Afghanistan, I've seen the different phenotypes that exist between populations on each side of the border and I concur that they are not at all that different other than a few minor differences, and skin Color is not a proper basis to use for phenotypes, we look rather at skull structure, nose structure, lips and so on, and that's exactly what I did in my travels, I love anthropology, the study of humans, so don't get psyched. I can post MANY pictures as well, but I know for a fact you have not studied in this area at all, as you just look at skin colour to differentiate between different populations, so I will not waste my time.Originally posted by M17ArnoBaloch View PostDarkness does not matter as I said earlier it's because of the sun. I never called Pashtuns Indians in terms of origins, learn to comprehend my posts rather than to jump to conclusions, the Pashtuns lived in what was called India, the Pashtun area as a whole has been faced with many conquests and so on, being a part of many empires and nations. Punjabi's all have different origins each and every Punjabi ethnicity is different, Punjabi the language is an Indo-European language as a whole, and actually the culture in each Punjabi ethnicity is different, from what I've noted.Originally posted by Karachi View Postjatts are indians, just because they have a slightly higher level of non south asian genes, doesn't mean they are not indian, they still have a huge south asian component just like other south asians. also their culture/language is indian and over all they only make like 10-15% of punjab's population, what about the rest of punjabis? are they european

No you are wrong, I'm on my cell phone so I can't elaborate more but I never denoted physical appearance on skin color you did. You said oh look our baloch brothers look very fair than panjabis then I showed you pics of pashtun who are dark and this is how the "skin" debate started. You staryed it not me, blame yourself, you pin pointed skin color loo at your original post, I never said about skin color, the thread I made (this one) never mentioned any skin color to begin with, I always talked about facial structure. I'm on my phone so I can't elaborate more but do look at your post, you talked about skin color, you bought up all those afghan cricket team not me. Blame yourself.Originally posted by Khyber Pass View PostActually, I do care about the Africans, the Europeans the North Americans and the list goes on because I have something called humanity in me, I don't hate on others just because their skin or their heritage is different than mine, such as you do, but in actuality one thing I will not acquire sympathy for; is the ignorant person, such as yourself, and also I have not been living in the Punjab for ages, my mother even tells me from her childhood she would spend very little time in the village and most of her time in Bannu, and also I would like to say that once again you're wrong, I have had exposure out side of the Punjab, I've actually also been to Afghanistan, I've seen the different phenotypes that exist between populations on each side of the border and I concur that they are not at all that different other than a few minor differences, and skin Color is not a proper basis to use for phenotypes, we look rather at skull structure, nose structure, lips and so on, and that's exactly what I did in my travels, I love anthropology, the study of humans, so don't get psyched. India extended into Nangarhar and was quite large, the Hindu Kush in general was used as a ways of separation between the two regions of Persia and India.
