DZJ - we are not freaks.
we are all affected by our height and what height we wish to be. you girls like your high heels? because of all the pain and future back problems? you want to be taller too. and the tall ones often wear flat shoes unless they are about to receive an award then high heels.

dont forget the boasting, every man boasts a little of his height.

i was joking of course. it used to bother me to a great extent when i was younger but i got over it as i grew up. as a matter of fact, being the oldest, i like it when i call on the youngest sibling to grab something for me from the shelf. sometimes he touches my head and then measures it up to his chest with a smirk on his face to tease me about it but i just slap his arm and tell him he is a freak.
i see people who don't have arms or legs enjoying life and living to the fullest so mourning over the few inches that i lack for the rest of my life is not the noblest way of living. besides, there is nothing more satisfying to me on a job site than to be walking around and supervising people twice my size.

The men on my dad's side are relatively short and the men on my mother's side are pretty tall.
Wardags are also known to be generally tall & well built (although not in every single case obviously, the defence minister being an example). I remember seeing this old picture of my grandfather from the 70s and he was huge, definetly over 6 feet, my uncles (mother's side) as well all tall and well built.

generally jatts are agriculturalists, and they had access to good food.
often egyptians (masri) are tall and big, again i think access to fertile agriculture along the nile.
panjabi sikhs tend to be taller than the average hindu katri, again bread basket of india.
i guess not every one inherited equal access to the bread basket of their regions so you have exceptions.

I want to note first that studies undergone on determining the average height of males in a locale always take males 21 years old or older, since a man completes his physical growth at 21 years old.

Average height of Pashtun men 21 years old or older has been found to be 179 cm (5'10.5"), which makes Pashtun men the tallest in entire South Asia and Central Asia.

There are 4500 ethnicities to-day. Among them all, Pashtuns are the 12th tallest.

Also, earlier this post, I saw somebody making a list like this "Iran 5'7", India 5'3" " etc.. You cannot take an average of people from a whole country or locale, even if you did, it would not be scientific. You can take average from ethnicity or a group of ethnicities, living anywhere on the earth, in collective or in retail. First of all, I need to note that the average height of all men living in Iran (average height of Iranian men) who are 21 years old or older is 174.24 cm (5'8.6"). But in Iran lots of ethnicities live. The peoples which are native to Persia from antiquity, i.e., Southwestern Iranids (Persians, Lurs, Bakhtiaris, Shirazis, etc.), in particular, have their males 21 years old or older measured to be on average 181.9 cm (5'11.6"). This makes Persians 6th tallest ethnicity among the overall 4500 ethnicities in the world.

Also, I have to note, collectively taken, people of Iranid blood (Persian, Pashto, Scythian, Sarmatian, Pamiri, Balochi, Nuristani, etc.) are the second tallest group of people. This is to say, among all of the groups in the world, Iranid group has the second tallest men, with 179,3 cm (5'10.6"), after North Germanid group.

I am 184cm I live in Belgium and most of the time I am just average when I am whith guys around here, sometimes most of the guys are taller than me, but if Afghanistan could become peacefull and peopel can eat healthy food from childhood we will be taller than the average man from Netherlands, becuase now they are considered the tallest or was it the Swedish men?....
