dont know about the universality, but the issue holds for afghans, blacks, indo-paks, and asians. (but it is not just colour, there are other features along with colour that come to play) individuals may deny accepting a desire for lighter colour, but if you are observant you will notice social bias to lighter skin.

i don't think it is wrong to have choice of colour, look etc, however discriminating human rights on such basis is.

Hey, how can it be? I said that we are unofficial! We do something scientific, using scientific methods, lots of things, but all studies conducted on earth are not neccessarily published. This kind of things tend to change by time very fast, and the last time something about what you asked published in Acadamic Journals in, I don't know, maybe 40s.

On Google search it says the average height of Afghan men is 5.6. As I know Pushtoons in Pakistan may be taller at 5.7. There are tall as well as short Pushtoons but on average they would be 5.7.

Afghan men might include Hazaras, I doubt average height of Pashtuns is 5.6 or 5.7. I am 6.0 and feel average amongst my tribe. I would say average is more around 5.10 TBH.

People like to overestimate the height of their ethnicity a lot. A first world country like USA has an average adult male height of 5'9.5 so the average Pashtun male height would be 1-2 inches shorter.
