Not sure about the average, but I am Yusafzai Pashtun and my height is 6'4.

My cousins and uncles are pretty tall too.

Wow bro, that's tall. To be honest, with that height you would stand out back home. I would still say the average height of Pashtuns generally is between 5.8 and 6ft. I do know a lot of tall Yusufzais, but then I've seen some of average height too.

My dad (Allah swt warta jannatoona werka) used to say Ghaljyaan are a tall race with very imposing physical characteristics. He also also used to say "Niazi Pathans" from Mianwali were tall but dark.

I am exactly 6 feet but i tell 5'11" so that people dont assume that i am boasting. Torkham your this mountain height doesnt apply to pashtuns that much accurately. Wazirs, mehsuds, orkazais, afridis etc are mountain people but are very tall. But non-pashtuns mountainous people like chitralis are very very short people.

You might be dreaming my friend. Chitralis are not short and Pushtoons are not giants. I live among Pushtoons and I know how tall they are. Every ethnicity has the tendency to make exaggerations but Pushtoons and Punjabis just take it to the next level. Pushtoons are normal people with normal heights. That's all I can say.

Pretty sad that some Afghan people here are reporting their elders telling them they used to be taller than the current generation. That's definitely a byproduct of the war, and malnutrition.
