They mostly look Pashtun but they are supposed to be of Indian origin.

The girls dancing in the videos are probably Dom but modern singers like Nazia Iqbal or Ghazala Javel are actually Pashtun. In previous centuries Pashtun women were not allowed to sing in public but now this has changed so most of the singers are fully Pashtun from Pashtun tribes.

Zarsanga is Kwatanay, she is not Pashtun.

In pashtunkhwa we use the word ,,kasabgar,,kasbi, naray zaat, khoshi, ghobani and also kotanay in southren part.
I do,nt know what they call in afghanistan.
kASABAGARS are jolagan, chumyaran, zargaran, daman, parachgan, nandapa n,tarkanan, awanan, kulalan and many more names.
These people are pashtunised and have no tribal or racail link to pashtuns.
They serve the pashtuns and participate in socail and cultural events.
For example many of these show biz women and men are kasabgars.
They are mostly dark skin, short and skiny type people.
Sometime they do things which bring shame for pashtuns too such as daman group.
Somewhere i read they were brought by pashtuns from india.
No doubt by origin kasabagrs are indains not pashtuns by any mean.
However many of them live like pashtuns and follow pakhtunwali.
        The pashtuns do,nt marry them.
The kasabagars are in good number in swat, malakand, dir, plain area of peshawar valley, mardan etc.
In other parts you will find a minor papulation of them serving in the villages.
They also made good contribution to pashtun society.
They are calm and cool people.
They are belong to different groups some of them do cheap things too and bring shame for pakhtuns cus they speak the language.
        Most of them hardworking people.
Today many of them educated and living good life.
I remember there was one chumyar in our class and everyone was racist to him and call him bad names. Finally his family moved to the city and there he become engineer.I still feel sorry for him cus as a child you do,nt know many things.
The abdalis also brought many of them as a slaves from india.
They are not the native people of the region .
They do,nt have language. They speak pakhtu.
There are some pashtu writers and poet from kasabgar origin.
so what is your view about kasabayans?
You don't need to worry about anything. With rapid urbanization in Pakistan, all these pashto speaking kamis are basically pashtuns. They will adopt pashtun tribe name and marry other pashtuns in cities.

Its inevitable, if you want to remain pure then stay in cave and don't ever come out.

          .
Not exactly, Ghazala Javed, Nazia Iqbal, Gul Panra etc are from dam caste, any one from their districts would tell you that. The low castes in upper districts are not necessarily dark-skinned, even Gujjars there are not dark unlike those in Punjab. Daman, for some reason, are mostly light-skinned even in my area. It varies, Chamar in my area are black-skinned while Trakhan are lighter than them.

The genuine Pashtun female singers are rare and usually were/are from Afghanistan.

Can you post some pictures of gujjars from KPK? Because gujjars here are not all that dark looking like akhtar who is gujjar also. So it depends what you mean, plus Akhtar don't look like low caste people despite dark brown skin tone. Sohail Tanveer is also gujjar.

Actor actually have lighter skin tone then Sharukh Khan who is film star.

Low caste look like Akmal brothers or Muhammad Yousef for exemple, their facial features are different.

I found these pictures from KPK, they are gujjars right?

I was not talking about gujars in particular, my point was that Daman of swat or other areas are not black/dark. This member Black Pakistani is Killzai from Afghanistan expert in assuming different identities so he doesnt know much about these Daman except what we have mentioned here. The Gul panra, for instance, took admission in Peshawer university to increase her charm and value, dam people are getting smart. A friend of mine was class fellow and of course they were aware of her family background. Here is here picture,

A descendent of Pashtun in India , even though counted as Ashrafia either looks exactly like a chamar in his village or is lighter and exhibit some lighter features. Same is case in Pakhtunkhwa, the indic serfs either have typical faces or look exactly like the pashtuns among who they live. Intermixing do take place, the male some times marry the female from Karigars. When Yusufzais arrived in Pakhtunkhwa in early 16th century, they found the Dilazak tribe of Pashtuns to be too Indic looking and refused to acknowledge them as Pashtuns. Dilazaks had settled in Pakhtunkhwa during Mehmud Ghaznavi times. The serfs were passed on to Yusufzais from Dilazaks and i am sure nowadays Yusufzais are now in same position like those Dilazaks in matter of looks and complexion.

The pictures I posted were gujjars from KPK? Because the website seem to be some gujjar association. In Punjab looks differences are on tribal lines.

Daniyal Aziz current parliamemt MNA from Narowal is gujjar

gujjar association picture from punjab, probably only place where one will find gujjars at once in punjab.

Orya Maqbool is also gujjar and he will be good exemple of light skinned punjabi gujjar. Above photos are mostly average types.

Kya mixing mixing laga raka hey? Gujar sey jump kar liya Niazi aur marwat par.....Why not discuss your Jatts

Marwats are generally regarded as pure pashtuns but i wont rule out intermarriages with their hamsayas over the course of history, just like all other tribes.

The mixed tribe , who dont look like pashtuns but like Jats..........are Khaisoor of DI Khan near Mullah diesel's village, they claim to be lodis. The other Pashtun tribes of DI Khan, like Gandapurs and Miya Khel dont look like Jats. Khaisoor on the other hand homogeneously look like Jats. The Marwats of Maulana Fazalur Rehman's village, acquired that territory by defeating and expelling these Khaisoors and their jat allies.
