Pashtuns born here (most of them) dont refer 2 themselves as pakistani.... please dont call us that... in Birmingham you could get a severe beating if you ran in2 a pashtun gang and called them a pakistani.... most people here are worrying about how to make ends meet....Frater aliquis in fide nec fratrem humanitatis

And we are not speaking about men here and womens.
Girls back home are tought respect and they respect their parents.

ahah at lest she had the guts to get a formal divorce... a friend of mine married a girl from back home... he brought her here.. after 1 year... during a family gathering...she told her mother in law that she needs to bring sometime from grocery story...she sat on her car and was gone...the next day the family called the police ... after 1 month of searching they find out she is living with a Mexican guy...her husband almost went crazy and wanted to do something really bad to her..this forced his family to pack their bags and move to Canada. There is another story a girl form well respected afghan family. educated girl…married for 7 years and had 5 years and 3 years old children…was working in IT field…met this Hindu guy in work… and just left her family and live with Hindu guy…the husband was so mad that he took his children and moved back home to Afghanistan… after 2 years the girl dump the Hindu guy and wanted her children back...she filed a kidnapping case against the guy for taking the children to Afghanistan…the guy was arrested by US/Afghan forces in Afghanistan and return to US…he is serving a 8 years old jail term for kidnapping.Originally posted by Dreamer View Postlet me tel you something about women from back home shall I???? this is from the experience of friends of mine.... 1 is a Dr he married a Dr back there... she was all sweetness and light and as soon as she came here she started wanting to wear mini skirts and go clubbing ( I have seen 1st hand how pashtuns frm back home like this a lot . how within 48hrs of landing at Heathrow they can be found dancing away on the nightclub) he obviously refused to allow her.... she then approached her leewar to take her.... he 2 refused.... she then started staying out late switching her phone off and returning home at 11pm... her husband asked her where she was going to which she replied that it wasnt his concern and how she was being kept a prisoner... she then ran away to Dudley and had an abortion ( who knows if it was her husbands????) she then divorced her husband after she got her indefinate stay visa... she then realised she would loose her mahar which was money tied up in property in Peshawar so she flew off there faked documents to say he divorced her and so by islamic law she would gain the mahar... her husband proved she was lieing... she then took her case to islamic council of Uk where she tried to argue the same... again she was found to be a lier... she then took her case to the UK courts (Non islamic) so that she could gain money from her husband that way... thankfully her husband was clever enough to take everything from his name and transfer it to his sister....
there are many more horror stories....
It does not matter if she is born here or in afghanistan... at the end it all depands on the person...even family does not matter... thus its very important to talk to the person and try to know her before marring...its to be sure then sorry.

it has it's ups and downs but i don't think bringing some one who has a different mentality than you from back home and then waiting half of your life to see if they adjust is fair to yourself or them or the decent people where ever you live. stop being lazy. keep looking.
I am no bird, and no nest ensnares me.
non commercial would cost less if he was in charge himself which he plans on doing. right now it's n herat but soon it will be in qanadahar.

That is a very male chauvinistic thing to say. It's not all about the girl. It could be equally all about the guy.Originally posted by Master Khan View Postyep there is
, Its all about how that girl grow up.
If parents grow her up wrong and she hang about with wrong people then there will be problems.
