You are not looking at ANYTHING through an islamic perspective. You are looking at things through the pashtun culture.Originally posted by Master Khan View Postlol Puting pictures and information of yourself on Internet is not islamic right.

The whole 'ghairat, pride, nang namoos'
And Dreamer is right, I'd rather my daughter wear jeans than skimpy indian clothes.
My dad never let us wear indian clothes because of all that it exposes.
It's all culture to you. Don't bring Islam to thisLast edited by Guest; 07-06-2010, 03:07 PM.

Or this:

(Side note: Man, Indian girls are naiceee. That was some of the most rewarding Googling I've done)."If a nation expects to be ignorant and free, in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be".
"Knowledge will forever govern ignorance; and a people who mean to be their own governors must arm themselves with the power which knowledge gives".

Indian clothes.. lol

Jeans..

What I'm trying to say .. it's not about the fabric or the country where the clothes were made, it's about selfrespect

^Those clothes arent "indian clothes" they are obviously a more modern look inspired by western clothes lol. Sheesh gals. Partoog kamees for one, are one of the most modest clothes I've seen and not comparable to jeans in anyway.
I desire that which is Just - House of Dukemina.

Nevertheless, they are Indian clothes, inspired by the West or the East, it's salwar kameez..Originally posted by Dukemina View Post^Those clothes arent "indian clothes" they are obviously a more modern look inspired by western clothes lol. I'm in no way saying that Kamees Partog is indecent. But if you look, the Partoog in those pictures and the jeans in the pictures below have the same cut. It's really not about fabric at all, it's about the cut of the clothes, how much you expose of yourself and how you carry yourself. And not about where the cloths were made or whether they are jeans or not. Just because a piece of garmet is made out of a certain kind of fabric, it doesn't mean that piece of garmet is ****ty.
People always say that salwar kamez is more decent than jeans.. and it's simply a false generalization. And that's all I'm tryna prove here. Salwar Kameez can be revealing, too; jeans can be decent, too.

cars has four tires for a reason. modesty doesn't just depend on cloths or character though both do come in questions along the way.
I am no bird, and no nest ensnares me.

Yes but clothes play a major factor. If a girl wears jeans I have no problem. bit if she is wearing them and she show off her behind and she say its ok in Islam. Its a problem.Originally posted by DaZahroJaam View Postcars has four tires for a reason. modesty doesn't just depend on cloths or character though both do come in questions along the way.
