^ i haven't actually read any detailed reports on the genetics of different Hunza, Chitral and Kalash tribes. They all seem to have the most (european) physical features but not sure about their genetics, because looks can be deceiving, their languages are apparently oldest indo aryan languages

I am assuming they would also be closely related to pashtuns genetically, maybe having high R1a1a , their languages/cultures are bit different though

Whilst the Nuristanis and Chitral are more numerous. The Kalash now only number a few thousand, so are sadly almost extinct as a tribal peoples. The Kata/Kalash religion is related to Hinduism; whilst the Chitrals seemingly practiced Buddhism.

The Kalash, Chitral and Nuristanis (Kafiristan) are genetically distinct and aren't closely related to Pashtuns or Kashmiris, let alone Europeans. Whilst they have Western Eurasian, ancestry these people are indigenous to the region and they are Indo-Aryans.

They are not, as is sometimes claimed, descendants of Alexander the Great (most likely 19th century British Romanticism). Nevertheless the Anglos where seemingly intrigued by the people of the region and a British agent, Robertson wrote a book 'The Kafirs of the Hindu-Kush' about them.

This detailed account of Robertson's tour throughout Kafiristan was originally published in London in 1896 by Lawrence & Bullen, LTD. Although its descriptions of the kafirs of the Hindukush are written in an outdated and colonial (and, from the perspective of modern sensibilities, discriminatory) style, it also contains some of the only accounts of the region from that time period.

George Scott Robertson - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Eurasiatic Eurasians tend to have common origins, as you might expect they are very distantly interrelated. Which is part of the reason, why many Central Asians, exibit Western Eurasian phenotypes.

        Kalash genetics

        "A genetic study published led by Firasat (2007) on Kalash individuals found high and diverse frequencies of :Haplogroup L3a (22.7%), H1* (20.5%), R1a (18.2%), G (18.2%), J2 (9.1%), R* (6.8%), R1* (2.3%), and L* (2.3%). Haplogroup L originates from prehistoric South Asia."

        "mtDNA haplogroup being U4, (pre-HV)1, U2e, and J2"

Kalash people - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This rather bigoted video by a Christian organization is nevertheless, quite informative.

Good thread!! Pashtuns are the most caucasian of all people, we have the most sharpest caucasian features in the world, even much more then europeans. we might be the first caucasian race in the world. I think recent genetics have proven that all europeans came from the afghanistan/Northern pakistan/Central asia area.

In my opinion pashtuns are the original aryan people

You are cheering a lot by saying this. Does aryan blood, sharper caucasian features make some one superior?. Can you post your picture so we can see if you actually possesses blue green eyes, red skin, blond hairs like most of europeans.

True caucasian are peopel from caucasus. Europeans cal them self to be from caucasian race becuase in old times evereone said that peopel from caucasus were the most beautiful in the world. My father also said to me that the most beautiful peopel came from caucasus. So thats why euros cal them self caucasian. It is the same thing whit Aryan. Germans say that they are true Aryans. Just because the Indians said that Aryans were a nobel and strong peopel, who had lighter skin color an colored eyes. Almost every Pashtun have light skin color (in case its lighter than that of indian peopel) and colored eyes ( colored means brown, hazel, green, blue) black eyes are not considered to colored. So the whole superiority is made up by Europeans. And I think you schould be proud of your own achivments as human being that helps the world in stead of being proud on how you look like. And stop being proud at such emty and meaningles thing like scharp features and looking good.

It's useless in terms of religion, but it is quite fascinating if you look at how the world is so beautifully and culturally diverse. Life would be pretty boring if we all were of the same race. It is also interesting to see how civilizations have evolved, and how humans have spread over the world and mutated in terms of physical features in order to adapt to a certain climates. In other words, you're looking at how humans have diverged from one family, and it's quite astounding to see how God helps certain species adapt to a climate by mutating their genes.

Why is this so peculiar to see? You do know that the gene that has caused mutation in eye colour and the likes of such, had first occurred around the regions of central asia (Afghanistan, NWFP etc). Thus, caucasians have actually formed around these regions, and then they've travelled towards Europe.

It's actually not that impressive to see "european looking" people around central asia.

Europeans did not invent racial supramacy.

The Chinese considered non Chinese as barbarians and savages.

The Mongols considered those who didnt have roots within their Mongol Clans as inferrior and weak.

The Arabs considered non Arabs as "Mawalis" hence the creation of Shiaism.

Europeans considered themselves as the suprioer ones too.

Even Pashtuns have a long history of racial supramacy over Hazaras.

So your claims of Europeans being the sole ones responsible for inventing racial supramacy is clear and sheer utter nonsense.

Even during the Slave trade, Arabs were the ones who captured and took away African people and sold them off to the Europeans.

Every Race has its own suprmacists, like me, I am a Pashtun Supramacist , I think race does matter, and there is nothing wrong with loving your nation and race.

                      Also,

If you have the sources, please post the sources proofing those Arabs were good Muslims.

                        Dear KingKhan

I dont need to waste my time proving anything to you or others disinformed with history, take a look at the following and hopefully you will get a good picture of what Arabs truely were and still are.

"A similar slave trade, conducted by Arab and African traders over roughly the same period, saw millions of others transported from the continent's east coast and enslaved in the Arab world. "

                        Modern times

When the world abolished slavery, the Saudis were still practicing it till 1962, goes to show who is the real suprmacist racists, also while Christian reformers spear headed the Anti-Slavery abolitionist movements throughout europe and north america, great britain even mobilised her navy, throughtout most of 19ths century to intercept slave ships and set the captives free, show me where were thre opposition towards slavery from the Arab world little boy? Arabs used slaves for their Harems, Abdal Rahman 111(912-961) in cordobad had around 6000 sex slaves most of them being Black and White slaves.

Be a good boy and run along.

The Europeans are a Western Asian/Western Indo-European peoples and Northern Pakistan isn't in Central Asia. Ancient gene flows between Western and Central Asia are likely bidirectional.

The Kalash and Nuristanis are a isolate, indigenous Indo-Aryan peoples. Which is possible why they exhibit low levels of both R* and R1* in their rare primordial forms and tend to have Western Eurasian mtDNA.

Thank you for informing me. If humans originated around Africa and travelled northwards, wouldn't then the gene mutations occur around the caucuses and central asia, then flow more northern into Europe? I believe all light-eyed individuals share a common recent ancestors, and many anthropologists agree on this theory. So now what I'm asking is, how are the ancient gene flows between Western and Central Asia bidirectional?

I'd like to know more about this, .

That was good work, for a typical slave minded individual. Like I said proof that they were real Muslims, and not Muslims by name?

Just cause their Arabs, don't make them real Muslims.

Eurasians are for the most part from India and the Near East. Not all Anthropologists necessarily agree that modern humans arose in East Africa and Asia is also a possibility.

Blue/gray eyes are belived to of originally emerged in the Balkans/Black Sea region. However I am unsure as to the origins of green eyes though.

Via the silk road for one.

Whilst different expansion and contraction events, triggering migration, distributing populations across Eurasia. Such as the neolithic the expansion of agriculture, climatic changes, technological developments and various invasions/displacements. In ancient times, the more fertile regions of the world where host to the largest populations. Which is why many of todays peoples, tend to emanate from such regions.

Horses were first domesticated in the Eurasian Steppes and chariots first emerged in the Urals. Which permited rapid Eurasian Indo-European and Altaic expansions.

The proto-Indo-Europeans where a ancient Indic/Central Asian Eurasiatic peoples, who aligned with various Western Asian peoples and it is this alignment that gave rise to the Indo-Europeans. Which is why even the Kalash have Western Eurasian ancestry, even though, they are clearly a very isolated tribe.
