    Unless this is a typo, "wosë" does not exist in this context.

    Wose = you (singular/informal) live.

    Wosëi = you (plural/formal) live.

    The use of J-caron is equally unnecessary.

    • There are thousands of accents

      There are thousands of accents in Pashto, anyone cant just write and follow their own accents as they wish. there should be a standard language and accent that is much widely understandable to Pashtuns from all the region and that is the central dialect of pashto which has been in use by the Afghan media since long.

      If everyone just follows his/her own accent then nobody is going to understand anything and there will be a big mess.

      So its better not to demand that people should write in the dialect of the reader. Besides in schools they should have classes about the different dialects of pashto. thus will people get familiarized with the different dialects as well.

      But there should always be one neutral standard and everyone should just follow it no matter how it is.

        YES THEY CAN BECAUSE THERE IS NO STANDARD.

        PERHAPS THERE SHOULD BE BUT THERE ISN'T.

        and that is the central dialect of pashto which has been in use by the Afghan media since long.

        EASTERN AFGHAN PASHTO IS USED IN EASTERN AFGHAN MEDIA. SIMILARLY, WESTERN AFGHAN PASHTO IS USED IN WESTERN AFGHAN MEDIA. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A "CENTRAL PASHTO".

        If everyone just follows his/her own accent then nobody is going to understand anything and there will be a big mess.

        REALLY? JUST BECAUSE YOU CAN'T UNDERSTAND OUR PASHTO, WE SHOULD SPEAK YOURS? I CAN UNDERSTAND ALL TYPES OF PASHTO AND IF YOU WANT TO MAKE AN "ALPHABET" FOR PASHTO, YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO UNDERSTAND EVERY TYPE OF PASHTO TOO.

        So its better not to demand that people should write in the dialect of the reader.

        ?????

        OK.

        WE HAVE A STANDARD, IT IS THE WRITTEN FORM. IT MIGHT STILL HAVE DIFFERENCES, BUT IT IS THE CLOSEST WE HAVE TO A LINGUISTIC NORM. PROMOTING ONE DIALECT OVER ANOTHER WILL CAUSE CONFLICT BETWEEN THE PASHTUNS SPEAKING THEM.

          Your first two replies and the last one contradict with each other. In the first two you say that there is no standard, in the last reply you say that you have got a standard. I think you don't know what you are talking about.

          • Add articles in Paxto Wikipedia

            Visit wikimedia incubator and add new articles to Paxto Wikipedia. The more articles we get the more chance of having an independent Paxto wikipedia based on Romanized alphabets.

                plus... Dari/Farsi words are also used in pashto, which needs to be spelled correctly.

                and did you forget the 10000s of arabic and farsi names that have swat and zwat in it... we will be miss spelling thousands of names in writing.
                Turkish has arabic words so does English (coffee etc.). A lot of languages has Arabic words, and that doesn't mean they should make their script Arabic.

                • I don't understand why it's so important to make a roman script, but if you want to then go ahead. I see no reason for you to stop. If some people don't support you it shouldn't matter. If your idea is good, then it will naturally gain support.

                  • well, I have a biased opinion on it.... i have a very very hard time reading romanized pashto because of all the differences, but I am basically fluent reading it in script. but i dont think it really could be standardized because there are soooooo many variations dialectally, and in writing, I mean when using script to write, there are tons of variations in spelling as well, but it seems to be easier for me anyway.

                              I already hate how tajiks use the russian letters for their writings.. Just looking at it makes me mad...
