    So it refers to you.
WTF are you talking about. Aren't Muslims suppose to follow the Quran? That is what I am doing, showing the story of creation with the words of god as my source. Your deliberately denying the Quran, as it is written with verses only god knows. Claiming you know it, I am not claiming I know it. I only know what the lord said.

So you want Muslims not to follow the Quran? Your saying believing in Evolution will help muslims progress, grow and develop.

    • following the Qurans means , the commands of the Qur'an, part of the commands is to seek knowledge about Nature....you are arguing against seeking natural knowledge if you're afraid that it will contradict a literal meaning. A person wont disobey Allah(swt) just because they believe Allah(swt) didnt mean the verse about Adam(as) literally.

You are claiming you know it, you claim the verses mean creationism. .....

the difference is I have proof the verses mean it, you're going by absurd superstition. This is what the last part means, ONLY those who have understanding know the message.

      • Where does it say that you should only follow the commands, and ignore the rest?

        • that's what "follow" means ..look at the words themselves

read the part where it says

          "fa yatab'aouna"

this means following something in deeds in Arabic, literally this part means "so they will follow"

See this is exactly why learning the Qur'an in it's original language is important because the detailed meanings are lost when translated.

          • Where does it say to ignore the other parts of the Quran?

            Comment

            • I dont know? You tell me, the verse doesn't seem to have to do with whatever you're speaking ...what the verse is referring to is referring is following commandments (muhakamat). people who use the metaphoric verses for not following the commands. Which wouldn't apply here since I am not telling people not to follow Islamic commands. In fact if we read other parts of the Qur'an, then we have to accept all living creatures are made from water; which is what evolution teaches.

Everything else is just your lack of understanding regarding the meanings of the Qur'ans language.

That's why you're not competent for this debate; you don't know Arabic to understand the Qur'an properly.

              • SchimitarXEdge, my question is not related to the topic but just want to ask if you know.
What is cloning ? What is the Islamic point of view over this ? Does it go against Islam or what ? Want to know your view on this.

                Thanks

Your telling people not to belief the story of Adam and Eve in the Quran as it is in metaphor. What else in the Quran should people not belief? Got anymore whacky meaning to a book only god knows for sure.

                  Salam
Please make another thread about cloning.

I don't know much about fiqh, I'm the wrong person to ask. I would say that Islam's ultimate goal is to bring people in harmony with nature and not try to abuse resources, which clong seems to be geared towards. So my understanding would say no.

We should believe God has hands, feet, eyes or that he literally sits on a throne.

You do not know what the true interpretations of the Quran is. Your whacky interpretations, are the interpretations of other whacky people. God is the All-Knower.

When you hear or read the parts of the Quran which are not commands, do you roll your eyes and act as if you know more then what god is saying? Do you ignore it, as it is a metaphor, and shouldn't be paid attention?
