Russia doesn't care about Muslims, they're using Muslims like pawns.

Remember when NATO bombed Serbia in 1999. What did Russia do ? Nothing.

    Serbia is :

    - Orthodox like Russia

    - Slavic like Russia

If Russia didn't do anything for her little Slavic Orthodox sister what makes you think Russia will ever do anything good for Muslims ?

Not mentionning Chechnya, Afghanistan war, racism against Central Asian muslims...

*** RUSSIAN MILITARY GOES IN TO CRIMEA ***

        1. 0.1 million Russian troops have been placed on the border with Ukraine.

        2. Russian jets next to the border with Ukraine have been put on "combat alert".

        3. Russian troops have secured control of airports in the Crimea and other buildings.

Crimean airspace is closed, so the illegal regime in Kiev cannot send forces in to Crimea.

The people of Crimea support Russia.

Russian soldier (though Russia has not officially declared they are Russians, everyone knows they are) guarding airport in Crimea. Russia is protecting Crimean airspace against the illegal regime in Kiev.

Russians (the majority) in Crimea in a mass display of support for Russia. Ethnic Russians in the Ukraine are fearful of the new US-backed regime in Kiev and its connections to extreme racist organizations.

Russian fighter planes on the border with Ukraine are on "combat alert".
Moscow is concerned for the safety for millions of ethnic Russians in Ukraine after a coup by forces aligned with neo-fascist groups.

Russia may be forced to send security forces to allow the taking place of a referendum which will show the democratic will of the people of Crimea i.e. if they wish to be in a confederacy with the Kiev regime, want independence or to join Russia.

So far it is not known what the international community thinks of this issue.

        - China: No statement so far

        - India: No statement so far

        - Brazil: No statement so far.

Western regimes have naturally supported the coup in Kiev.

China has remained silent so far, but it is not sure what China will do.

a: Will China send some of its war ships in the Mediterranean to the Black Sea as a show of support for Russia and for democracy in Crimea?

        b: Will China remain quiet?

One thing is clear however, China is definitely the biggest winner in this whole crisis.

The Chinese navy is patrolling the eastern Mediterranean in a joint operation with Russia to protect the security of the eastern Mediterranean and to counter American destabilization of the region.

Russian-Chinese naval co-operation in the Mediterranean.

Chechens ready to keep peace in Crimea - Kadyrov

            13:07 February 27, 2014 Interfax

Head of Russia's internal republic of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov is ready to protect the rights of the Russian-speaking people in Crimea that sees disturbances over the change in authorities.
"Ukraine and Russia are fraternal peoples. I have many Ukrainian friends, and like them all and regret what has recently been happening there The majority of people living today in Crimea are Russians, Cossacks. We are always with them and if necessary are ready to come to the rescue. We will stand up for Russians, Cossacks and Chechens no matter where they live," Kadyrov told journalists on Wednesday.

Chechens are "a part of multiethnic and multi-religious Russia" and live "in friendship with all peoples," he said.
"We are called upon to protect our peoples. If necessary, we are ready to go, to be observers. If necessary, we are ready to be peacekeepers and soldiers and protect the people," Kadyrov said.
He also called on Crimean Tatars not to fan up tensions. "Those who came to the square [outside the Crimean parliament building in Simferopol] today and say that they were deported, heat up tensions. Chechens, the whole Chechen people, were departed as well […] I think if one is unhappy, he should act in line with the law rather than profit from the moment, gather in groups and shout various slogans," Kadyrov said.

*The American plan has been to use the "Islamic" card in Crimea (as the Americans have been planning this for decades) in the form of the Crimean Tatars and also to drag in radical "Islamists" from abroad and destabilize Crimea. This would cause nothing but suffering, bloodshed, death and misery for the Muslims of Crimea and everyone else. What is needed is a peaceful referendum to allow Crimea to have democracy, and to allow Crimeans to choose their future.

            Democracy in Crimea must prevail.

There must be peace in Crimea.

There can be no American backed "Islamist" terror campaign in Crimea.

putin and the russians are worse than america, they just don't have the power that america has to wreak havoc around the world like they used to. any muslim choosing a side between america and russia is out of their damn minds.
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

                        UPDATES:

                        India supports Russia over Ukraine:

India News: India believes Russia has “legitimate interests” in Ukraine — a position that is opposed to the stand of the West on the latest crisis.

India is the second biggest nation in the world with 1 billion people, the second biggest consumer market in the world.

India is a nuclear power and had a mini-diplomatic war with the USA recently over an Indian diplomat arrested in New York.

In October, India stopped a US ship and arrested Americans.

Some clarifications on a number of points (note, I do not support Russia for instance in Kosova and am a strong supporter of Kosova independence).

                          1. "Russia, a "bully" e.g. in Georgia."

In August 2008, Georgian troops initiated hostilities launching an offensive in the disputed region of south Ossetia killing Russian soldiers.

Russia retaliated by conducting a military operation which lasted a few days.

a: Russia did not occupy Georgia as the US has done in Iraq.
b: Russia did not overthrow the Georgian leader, who is still in power i.e. Russia did not install a pro-Russian government.
c: Russia did not work to assasinate the Georgian leader, Saakashvili, as the US has done by assasinating various leaders around the world.
d: Russia did not take any part of Georgia.
e: Russia did not help to expand the territory controlled by the Ossetians.

The Georgian offensive against Russia was repulsed with the anti-Russian government left intact and with Georgia having the same territory as it did both the operation. No was Georgia heavily bombed.

Georgia is an ex-Soviet state with thousands and thousands of Georgians working and living in Moscow. Russia did not seek to annex it, so there is no way would it invade far bigger Poland.

                          2. "Tatars are the owners of Crimea."

Prior to the deportation of the Tatars of Crimea by Georgian dictator and former Soviet ruler, Stalin, the Tatars were under 20% of the population of Crimea, Russians were the biggest single ethnic group in the Crimea.

Tatars were expelled by the communists but so were the Chechens and other nationalities, and none of these have been expelled from their homelands in the new post-communist Russia.

However many ethnic Russians from ex-Soviet Republics have left/fled these states due to hostility to Russians.

The Tatars of Tatarstan, are generally pro-Russia (my friend is a Tatar from Kazan) and believe that any violent struggle for secession would only lead to death and suffering.

The leadership of Tatarstan has recently visited Crimea and made deals with the Crimean Tatars.

                          3. "Russian behaviour in Ukraine is aggressive".

It is in fact defensive. Ukraine is more than just another ex-Soviet state in the same way Saudi Arabia is more than just another Muslim country to most Muslims e.g. Bangladeshis. Saudi Arabia is the birthplace of Islam and thus for Bangladeshis an attack on Mecca or Medina is equivalent to an attack on Dhaka (in fact Bangladeshis would consider an attack on Mecca as even worse).

Ukraine is one of the birthplaces of the Russian nation and Russian culture, prior to the communist created internal boundaries of the ex-USSR, the eastern areas of Ukraine were no different to parts of Russia proper, as they were ethnically Russian.

The rioters in Kiev who were funded and supported by the US and given $5 billion over a number of years, included far-right fascists who are fiercely anti-Russian.

One of the first actions of the new Kiev regime was to ban Russian as an official language in majority-Russian Crimea.

The US goal was ultimately to take control of Crimea (an area which seeks to be part of Russian) and remove the Russian black sea fleet from there.

-Russia has not bombed Ukraine be it Kiev, Donetsk, Kharkiv and merely sent troops to a majority Russian region fearful of the Kiev region.

                          - Russia will not seek to attack Poland or other states as the example above of Georgia clearly demonstrates.

The Kiev government is not seen as constitutional by many and has not been elected, though Yanukovich, though corrupt, was the democratically elected leader of Ukraine. The heavily Russian areas of eastern Ukraine were not consulted about the coup in Kiev.

More misconceptions and propaganda can be dispelled later.
                          * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

                            Analysis

Putin has de-escalated the conflict by calling troops back in to their barracks. Putin knows the west will not, and cannot, do anything militarily in Ukraine, in fact there are divisions amongst the west about even applying sanctions on Russia, with Germany and the UK clearly against it.

Ukraine will probably remain as one state, but the wishes of the south and east of Ukraine which are heavily Russian will have to be respected by the essentially American-installed Kiev regime.

If Russia was as aggressive as some think, they would seek to annex the Russian areas of Ukraine. This would mean

                            1. Ukraine loses all of its coast.

                            2. Russia establishes supremacy in the north of the black sea.

                            3. Russia establishes a land connection to the Transnistria republic.

                            4. America would be humiliated, with the US supporting a coup only to see Russia expanding in land and power.

The resultant humiliation would lead to a major loss of prestige for the US and lack of confidence in its allies across the world. We are already seeing this with Saudi Arabia decreasing their military and strategic dependence on the USA and looking towards others.

This would accelerate the demise of US global dominance dramatically.

I do not think Russia will seek to annex the Russian areas of Ukraine, but merely have a Kiev regime which respects ethnic Russians and is not hostile to Russians in Ukraine or Russia itself.

The Crimea however may become part of Russia itself. A punishment by Russia to the US for promoting conflict in the Ukraine.

before the ossetian-georgia war russia distributed russian passports to ossetian people
on the border were gunfire it's not cleared from each side, obviously just to provocate

tatar people are the most integrated muslims in entire russia and they are very intelligent people, so i hope the islamistic card of the saudis and west will not work
besides of it russians lived under tatar yoke for 300 years and tatars are pretty proud of it

say to your tatar friend: scratch at a russian and a tatar will appear.

as you already said ukraine (kievan rus!) is a birthplace of russian nation and ukraine people are very proud of it and rub it always in russian nose

                                1. My Tatar friend acknowledges that Kazan Tatars are actually a collection of different racial groups who speak Tatar (Turkic language) and are Muslim. Some Tatars are blonde and European whilst others look more Asiatic. He himself says he is probably the descendant of Finnic peoples but is now a Turkified/Tataricized Muslim.

                                2. I am not some extreme Russophile (far from it) or Putin-fan. It is just that the Sino-Russian alliance is the only thing stopping the Americans from complete global domination.

The American agenda includes a lot of horrific things.

The Americans have massacred, invaded, plundered, destroyed and raped across the globe and plan to do more.

                                3. Ossetian is the closest language to Pashto. Some Ossetians are Muslim, some are Christian. North Ossetia is within the Russian federation, South Ossetia was within the borders of Georgia but wanted to secede.

                                4. Tatars are more integrated with Russians (whom often they can not be physically distinguished from) than the Muslims of the Caucasus who are very different and have a mountainous, tribal mentality.

America plans to ignite a major war in the North Caucasus using Salafists/militants. Moscow knows that. However I do not think the Americans will be successful. Ukraine, as Syria before it, is a clear sign of their declining power.

It seems the Americans have already failed in igniting an "Islamist" uprising in Crimea using the Tatars there.

Anyway Tatars are a pragmatic race who to a degree look down on Caucasian Muslims as somewhat rougher and backwards. Tatars think there is no point in having a bloody conflict with Moscow for secession.

                                Here are some famous Tatars.

                                Rinat Akhmetov, a Ukranian Tatar.

Elvira Nabiullina, head of the Bank of Russia, with Putin.

The next Tatar is one who has a more Asiatic/Mongoloid appearance.

                                Ravil Gainutdin, a Russian Mufti.

The first two look totally European, the last looks Asiatic.

Anyway Crimean Tatars are quite different from Kazan Tatars. They are cousins but not the same people due to history, different identity, region etc.
