Not at all. I consistently cite sources and expect you to look up and verify what I am saying. I do not expect you to take it upon my authority that these are logical fallacies, I simply point you towards the fact that they are, and let you look into the issue on your own.

      and using illogical argument.
      How is it illogical?

Anyone who kills innocent people is not a Muslim.
Not true. Look at the Taliban. They meet the definition of Muslim, even if they have twisted their faith in a way you do not support.

What part of that do you not understand so I can help you.
I do not appear to be the one with troubles.

That's the point. They say they exact same things about you -- that *YOU* do not follow that religion in the proper way, since you allow infidels to live.

You are *both* right -- you can *both* follow the same religion but have different ideas about it.

Funny. I am going out on a limb here -- but they are reading those same verses and interpreting them differently. It's a shame, but it happens.

Because they are NOT Muslims, they are call terrorist and they use Islam to brainwash people.

Fight in the cause of God those who fight you, but do not transgress limits; for God loveth not transgressors. (The Noble Quran, 2:190)"

"On that account: We ordained for the Children of Israel that if any one slew a person - unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the land - it would be as if he slew the whole people: and if any one saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of the whole people. Then although there came to them Our apostles with clear signs, yet, even after that, many of them continued to commit excesses in the land. (The Noble Quran, 5:32)"

This is from the Quran, Killing innocent(even None-believers) is Wrong and if you do kill innocents then you are NOT a muslim, Please understand!!

          • I saw in that Undercover Mosque tv special that muslims were calling for brainwashing, as opposed to what they called ¨brain defiling.¨

I'm sorry -- I think you are trying to convince the wrong person. I'm not the one that uses teh Koran as a shield when attacking others. That's the terrorists, and for every quote you make saying they are wrong, they can find quotes to show you that you are wrong. It's been done every day, for every religion. Protestants and Catholics are all Christians, even though they disagree, and all point at the same book.

I'm sorry, but what was 'weak' about pointing out one of the world's most well known group of (current) terrorists -- who happen to be Muslims?

Let's pull up the dictionary, shall we?

1 : the religious faith of Muslims including belief in Allah as the sole deity and in Muhammad as his prophet

Well, there we have it. Taliban. Lets keep digging:

2 a : the civilization erected upon Islamic faith

Well, they are not very civilized -- but they sure would meet this definition if one was to call them civilized.

b : the group of modern nations in which Islam is the dominant religion

                Well, shoot. Taliban again.

Were you disagreeing that flying commercial airliners into a civilian tower was terrorism, then? It seems almost as cut-and-dried that thatwas terrorism as the Taliban being Muslim.

Again, a differing in interpretation does not mean they are not the same religion as you.

One mans freedom fighter, is one mans terrorist.
Sorry, doesn't work that way. They are terrorists based on tactics and targets, not political ideology.

                • I have a question:

Why is it that the 'Koran' is so prone to wrong interpretations? Why is it that the Koran can easily be interpreted to sanction terrorist acts? What inherent attribute of the Koran makes it such an easy guide to terrorism for those who want it to be so?

                  • I think my question is totally relevant here, Wardak Jaana.

The Taliban blew up the towers?
Sorry, I misspoke -- a protectorate of the Taliban did that -- the Taliban are guilty of their own terrorist acts.

Forgive me, I misspoke in my example, but the example still stands.

I agree. Since people are saying that the Koran cannot be used to further terrorist aims in this thread, a discussion about how and why they are clearly wrong is very appropriate here.

I think the Koran is no more, or less prone to that abuse than any other religion, personally.

There is something common between Sikhism and Islam.
All religions have a history of unleashing terror to further their aims.

Qur'an is not prone for wrong interpretations.

Since most of the verses of the qur'an where Islamic laws are based upon are clear and are elaborated in the ahadith.

only some deviant sects claim otherwise.

So are you claiming that the interpretation of Islam by people such as the Taliban and the Sipah e Sahaba and Jaish e Mohammad is the real interpretation of Islam?

This is again, the wrong question.

You have to explain first, what exactly do they do that is in your view an odd interpretation or an interpretation other than the popular interpretation.
