  • at the end of the day, we all want to work hard for a better life for our children and family. At times, i feel like why am i so involved in politics, why dont we work to not harm this planet of ours or something will truely happen and we will loose it all.

Its amazing how opportunties can reverse ones anger towards others.

there is nothing to debate now brother.
Agreed, it is cut and dried, and the fact is clear that you have, in the past (if not still) supported terrorism on this very thread.

We all are just simple people that wants to do well in life and be happy.
I got friends are non-religions, Chritains etc and we get alone well.
That's a step in the right direction.

Sure. other than a very small handful of terrorist supporters, you are right.

Simply put, this forum does not seem to support terrorists.
A little less simply, most of the people on this forum, including the admin, do not support terrorism.
Even less simply, a small number on this forum alternate between supporting terrorism, and pretending they don't, while the majority here do not support terrorism.

No, I understand that. What I don't understand is how a person so close to the effects of terrorism could voice support for terrorism. Saying that the victims of terrorists 'got what they deserve' is a very pro-terrorist stance for a person from an area torn by by terrorism.

Insulting is one thing -- terrorism is much much more. No insult on the planet can justify terrorism in response. Insults are just words.

I know its just a word and Yes what same muslims did in respone was just stupid, but at that time muslims were upset already because of 9-11, london bombings etc, so this really upset then and made them angry.
their emotions got the best of them.

Terrorism done by Muslims, that left a black mark on the face of Islam.

                      london bombings etc,
Again, terrorism enacted by Muslim men, leaving a black mark on the face of Islam.

This is fine -- but who they got angry with, and how they expressed that anger is unacceptable. Be angry at the Muslim terrorists that gave the world the impression that Islam is full of terrorists -- don't go providing more evidence that this opinion of Islam is correct!

their emotions got the best of them.
And they need to deal with the fallout for that.

I'm glad you bolded that, so I don't have to. When did I say that? I said quite the opposite -- that they use the religion as an excuse, not that they are all doing it *for* their religion. Many are, but many more amoral people use religion as a tool to gain and obtain power, or justify their actions. Whether they twist their religion to suit their desires, or their religion twists them, the end result is the same -- horrible deeds done against innocent people.

I never said that they were brainwashed by their religion -- but I don't doubt that in many cases they are, or that the religion itself is used as a tool to cause brainwashing.

You keep beating around the same bush, use religion as an excuse where really your government (the same one that rags on about freedom and human values) forced them to live this way, they turned them into the ****bags they are by propagating and supporting there extremist views when they thought convenient..Where was the justice then ? and today when this cancer got out of hand you call them radicals ?

I'm gonna share some quotes with you, so you really understand who the 'real terrorists' are

True justice does not allow for the excusing of terrible crimes just because someone's feelings are hurt. It is not a mistake to defend the universal human right to free speech. It is not a mistake to make a stand for what is right in the face of adversity.
These are very specific actions of people making a deliberate action to make a stand -- that is not a mistake, nor, in this case, is it wrong. There is no fault in exercising a universal human right -- any fault falls on the amoral pigs that say it is wrong for you to exercise your rights -- in any circumstance. The fault falls to the terrorist swine, and the hog-farmers that justify their actions, and excuse what they do, and try and make a defense for them.

True Justice ? Have you given these people true justice ? Its not a mistake to defend Universal right to free speech but its ok to wage wars on countries and kill innocents ? you cry foul when your freedom is threatened where the hell where you when your tanks trampled the freedom, rights and lives of millions of people and still continue to do so ?!

And the fault does lie with the terrorist swine and these people are terrorists..but who is the real terrorist here ? Its your society that put a man like Bush in power and that did NOTHING to stop him and his cronies

By defending terrorists, by siding with them, you encourage them to do something evil -- by doing something evil yourself. That is the mistake, and appeasement is the flaw in policies.

I'm not justifying their cause, and i never will not when my own country and my own soldiers are out there risking there lives to fight these ****bags. My point is that these arent the only terrorists, your policy makers, the people who run your country they are even bigger terrorists then these stooges because it is them who created these people NOT the other way around

And that is what you cant admit

Here read something about the great American Heroes, the real terrorists

It's really difficult to exactly delineate who our enemies are, but they number in millions. They're Arab and Muslim . . . Our enemy is the majority of the people who live in what we think of as the large Arab nations, plus certain other groups. Our enemy is concentrated in Egypt, Libya, Jordan, Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Syria, plus the Palestinians are part of it."
                          - Ralph Peters, CIA deputy chief of staff for intelligence

"If they turn on the radars we're going to blow up their damn SAMs (surface-to-air missiles). They know we own their country. We own their airspace... We dictate the way they live and talk. And that's what's great about America right now. It's a good thing, especially when there's a lot of oil out there we need." - U.S. Brig. General William Looney (Interview Washington Post, August 30, 1999)

                          Roose
velt received him [British ambassador Lord Halifax] that very evening at the White House. Their discussion focused on the Middle East. Trying to ally Halifax's apprension and irritation, Roosevelt showed the ambassador a rough sketch he had made of the Middle East. Persian oil, he told the ambassador, is yours. We share the oil of Iraq and Kuwait. As for Saudi Arabian oil, it is ours. Daniel Yergin - The Prize: The Epic Quest for Oil, Money, and Power - New York:Simon and Schuster, 1991,401

"I will never apologize for the United States of America. I don't care what the facts are." After the US destroyer Vincennes in Iranian territorial waters, shoots down an Iranian commercial flight (Iran Air 654) in Iranian airspace killing all 286 passengers. - George Bush is quoted in the magazine, Newsweek, 1985

"There was never a plan to leave Iraq because there is no intention to leave Iraq. We (the Americans) are currently building 14 bases there. **** Cheney can't imagine giving up that oil. The military can't imagine giving up those bases. That's why they can't come up with a plan to leave." - Chalmers Johnson, author of Sorrows of Empire, in LA Weekly, July 6 2004

"I do not understand this sqeamishness about the use of gas. I am strongly in favour of using poison gas against uncivilised tribes." - Winston Churchill, 19 February, 1920, before the start of the Arab uprising

That is known as the "No True Scotsman" logical fallacy.

To use your 'logic' -- no American would ever hurt an innocent person.

I can point out Muslim after Muslim that is a terrorist, it's not even that hard to do, and you simply cannot state that since their ideas do not line up with *your* ideas that they are not Muslim. It doesn't work that way.
