I think it is your inability to separate emotions such as anger from physical violence. The more adult, and civilized response to anger is to discuss and seek to remedy the situation through legal, political, and ethical means -- not attack, or justify the attacks, on those that anger us.Originally posted by Master Khan View PostOk then Men, Now why you think That I support terrorism Mr ozymandias?-------------------------------------------------

Actually, I think you are an internet tough guy, that doesn't really think the repercussions of what you say online through. I am not convinced you would be violent in person, but you seem to have no problem advocating and supporting violent solutions to emotional problems online.Originally posted by Master Khan View Postumm.. It's either that, or you are a very clever internet troll set out to defame the Islamic community. If so, bravo, 10/10!
I'm actually surprised you consistently keep making a single post that both claims you do not support terrorism, and then manage to support terrorism in the same post.-------------------------------------------------

Really? Not long ago you supported killing innocent cartoonists.
I think killing innocent people is wrong,
Multiple personalities? Multiple posters using one account?
if I support terrorism then that means I support the killings of Innocent, which I don't my friend.
... You are aware that those assassins would be terrorists, right?

But he is safe, he got full protection from the goverment and he will be fine.

Ok, third option -- you might just be a moron. You do realize that terrorists occasionally kill one person (say, an innocent Danish cartoonist) that did something they did not like in order to make other people too terrified to do anything they don't like, right? That's the whole point of terrorists. 9/11 was not about terrorizing the people in the towers -- it was about KILLING them, and TERRORIZING everyone else.Originally posted by Master Khan View PostYeah people want to assassinate him..not terrorise him.
Oh, so the fact that he now has to live under constant government protection, and is not free to move around safely makes it ok?
But he is safe, he got full protection from the goverment and he will be fine.

Who is and who isn't a terrorist is subject to a persons interpretation.
I myself believe the American foreign policy is a terrorist policy. The United States has no right to label people as terrorist when they are involved in mass killings and assassinations since the beginning of its establishment. Let us not forget ourselves before we point the finger at another person.

Yeah we have the right to defend our land.Originally posted by Afghanlady^I agree with you completely.
The U.S.A invade the Pashtun lands and say 'terrorists' when al they are now doing is defending their lands from invaders and they have now clue why the Americans are there to begin with.

It didn't help that President Bush really was little more than a simpleton when it came to presenting a reasonable argument. His backers, and the architects of this mess, famously allowed him to get away with saying, "You're either with us or against us" - pretty much holding everyone to ransom. The world isn't black or white - there are many, many shades of grey and it stinks of imperialism and bullying when the Americans decide that the world should choose to side with the Americans or side with the terrorists.Originally posted by Free Thinker View PostWho is and who isn't a terrorist is subject to a persons interpretation.

It was never that simple, but Bush presented it as such, because Bush himself was simple. Pakistan played the game, dropped overt support for the Talibaan, but that didn't help in any way whatsoever.
Sure the world was horrified at 911, but the response - Bush's response was to shoot from the hip and think later - has cost us all dearly. Nine years on, I ask the question - remind me again, what is US military's role in Afghanistan?Last edited by tor_khan; 05-04-2010, 04:35 PM.

While the definition of 'terrorist' is a bit vague, some things clearly meet the vast majority of definitions, and some things clearly do not.Originally posted by Free Thinker View PostWho is and who isn't a terrorist is subject to a persons interpretation.
That is your right, but I would argue that since it is a military action, against minitary targets, and designed to minimize the terror of civilians, it does not count as terrorism.
I myself believe the American foreign policy is a terrorist policy.
They have every right to label people that meet the core definition of terrorist 'terrorist'.

I'm sorry, but no one does this, or at least not in any large numbers. They are not terrorists for defending -- they are typically labeled 'insurgents' -- it is people like the people attacking the Twin Towers, or the Danish Cartoonists, or rioting and burning down embassies, or sending death threats to civilians that are called terrorists.Originally posted by Afghanlady^I agree with you completely.

I have never heard of a defender called a terrorist -- unless that 'defender' blew up a bus of civilians -- and that is clearly a terrorist.-------------------------------------------------

I agree, however the Danish Cartoonist, and South Park were not invading, so the defense argument does not work.Originally posted by Master Khan View PostYeah we have the right to defend our land.-------------------------------------------------

Ozy dear.
PPashtuns had nothing to do with 9/11 They have no evidence of any Pashtuns blowing up the otwers or etc.
how do you explain the American army presence in the Pashtun heartlands?Just because you think we migt do something in the future?
Pashtuns were the very same people America supported to defeat the Russians.
So you support Pashtuns, you make Pashtuns collapse the soviet union. When Pashtuns do not take your order(they are very proud) you label them extremist?
Taliban is a group of students from Kandahar who took over with the help of the USA. When the Taliban does not take your order and refuses to e your puppet. You start a propaganda how they hate women education, how they are radicals how they are extremists. How they are backward?
Media can do a lot I must say. What amuses me is how the USA loved and supported Mujahedeen. But when you realize they aren't monkey says monkey do. You use media to depict them as bad ppl. You create fake flogging ideos saying hey look it's the Taliban.
like another member said here,
you try to win the support of the world by saying look in Kabul the women now wear skirts. But we all know that is nonsense and lies.
