Stay here MR Dust let the muslims educate you on "true Islam" and how noble and great it is.

Care to answer my illogical assumption per you, that islam eats away rationality, like you wont believe it. LOL.

I guess you will soon suffer the psychological ills you quickly established I must be suffering from. Join the club. We will see a good shrink together.
How does Islam eat away rationality

dont try to understand that, it will tax your nervous system way too much, no need for such torment.

You are so ignorant, that you feel the need to insult people of other faith so you could feel better about the lonely state of misery that you are in. I hope one day you will come out of the darkness and see the light.

Really? Then why does the whole world see americans as the most arogant people on the planet. I talk to many American Men and they tell me they wished they had an Islamic society where the man is the head of the household. They have come to realize that the family structure does not work when the man is not head of the household like Islam recommends.

Well, as far as the two of them are concerned the marriage stands. Not everyone needs to be married under an Islamic system to have their marriages approved.

              Dust,
People in the west are starting to think that they dont need a peice of paper to start a family. So they dont even marry so they dont have to deal with a nasty divorce and finacial misery because they know there is a high chance it will happen. In Islam it is not healthy for a family to live in such a way.

Of course, not. I totally agree with you.

What I find appalling is that the member Dreamer is nullifying a perfectly healthy marriage and calling it "fornication."

I am for the sanctity of the institution of marriage, and that is what I am trying to say: you do not need to be married under an Islamic system to have your marriage accepted. Millions of people are married and are not Muslim or religious for that matter. However, they have gotten married, and in turn have done society a great favour. It would be unfair to label their spousal conjugations as "fornication."

Further, my friend, divorce also happens among Muslims. If it does not happen, it is because the women is too afraid or the judge is not granting it.

                      What a logical fallacy.

I can still participate if I want to.

You are right that divorce does happen in Muslim society and it is lawfull if there is no alternative to keep the family intact.

As far as the marriage of shah ruhk khan is concerned. Islam recognizes contract marriages between two people no matter what their faith is. They are still man and wife. But what we are saying is that this is not an Islamic marriage between a muslim man and a woman of the Scriptures, a monotheist person. We are not saying that he is not a muslim because he married this woman, but because he broke the first pillar of telling his kids its OK to worship idols. What we are saying is he is not a muslim in an Islamic marriage, but a contract between them is a still considerd a marriage.
It would be unlawfull for me to approach her and convet her to islam and try to marry her because she is already married to this man. That would be wrong.

Lets take the stance that hes a muslim... if he is then his marriage is indeed fornication since his faith is not allowing said marriage... if he isnt then there isnt a problem since he isnt a muslim....
Your the one whose hell bent on showing hes a muslim so according even to you then since hes a muslim hes bound by the laws of his religion so his marriage is null and void

OK, I see what you are saying. What do you think about their marriage as per the dictates of a civilized society?

Also, what do you think about the marriage of non-Muslims as per Islam?
