But look at Alex Jones lol
Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

The fruits you buy in stores are not ripe. They pick/harvest them early so they don't rot as quickly since it takes time to transport them from farm to store shelves and want them to have a long shelf life. The best way to get tasty fruit is to go to the farm and pick them yourself when they are ripe.Originally posted by salman47 View PostGood Point!
Since Turkey is copying everything Western(and importing), the food here has no taste at all. I mean if you eat it raw, you don't really get the natural taste as back home.
Chicken/meat, when cooked has very bland taste.
The fruits here are also bland, either sweet or not sweet. Even many fruits are seedless(like oranges).
Lemons are unusually big, with less sourness and more water.
Vegetables are completely tasteless. Etc.. Etc..
Btw Turkish people use way too many spices than we do, while saying they don't know spices!
So yea everything back home is perfect, unless our people get too greedy for money.

Unlike the west, there is Bazar on every Thursday and Sunday. Where you can pick up fresh from the farm fruits. Also my old room mate used to bring fruits from his farm. Same result -> bland...Originally posted by khushal View PostThe fruits you buy in stores are not ripe. I buy my lambs from Turkish markets and it's not bad. I can't compare because I had never the chance to try afghan lamb.Originally posted by salman47 View PostGood Point!

But we aren't hunting anymore. We can't bring the nature out of balance if we eat from intensive live stock farming.Originally posted by UnknownUser View Postthe creator has made life on the planet has been made in such way that everything is in perfect equilibrium/or balance each other out at all times.
if all humans stopped eating meat, this could potentially put the system out of balance.

Insight, I would suggest you watch this documentary to make better decision on your health. It explains what human ate historically and how modern eating movements have actually made us unhealthy. When you take away animal based fats, you have to replace them with carbs and carbs are the real cause of inflammation which is what causes many of the diseases.

but even this is a bit propganda-ish .....I don't think carbohydrate suppression is the right thing either .....it's about the quality of the nutrient sources themselves. .....Originally posted by khushal View PostInsight, I would suggest you watch this documentary to make better decision on your health. Vegans tend not to have heart disease .....fact.

Its about our genetics. 99% of our existence, we have been getting our nutrients from eating animal products as hunters and gatherers or nomads. Our genes have adapted to that environment. Agriculture is a new thing to us as far as our history is concerned.Originally posted by Iblis_Efreetzai View Postbut even this is a bit propganda-ish .....I don't think carbohydrate suppression is the right thing either .....it's about the quality of the nutrient sources themselves. .....

I eat a lot of butter and meat everyday and I am very healthy and I feel great. My father and uncles drank that gho ghwaree everyday and they are all still alive with no heart disease. They are actually healthier than their peers that did not drink that stuff.Last edited by khushal; 06-17-2018, 08:37 PM.

We're not talking about one study, we're talking about masses of meta-analyses that show Vegans (notice I said Vegans, no animal fat/protein/cholestorol sources) have the lowest incidence of heart disease.
Yes genetics does play a factor of course, it's a strong factor but still the results are the results ....
Mind you, I'm also not a Vegetarian and just had a big slab of beef prime rib and even ate the fat.
This comprehensive meta-analysis reports a significant protective effect of a vegetarian diet versus the incidence and/or mortality from ischemic heart disease (−25%) and incidence from total cancer (−8%). Vegan diet conferred a significant reduced risk (−15%) of incidence from total cancer.

your study focuses on cholesterol which is believed the cause of heart disease. More and more researchers are now under the belief that cholesterol may not be the cause since many people with low cholesterol die from strokes and heart attacks. They are now focusing on inflammation.Originally posted by Iblis_Efreetzai View PostWe're not talking about one study, we're talking about masses of meta-analyses that show Vegans (notice I said Vegans, no animal fat/protein/cholestorol sources) have the lowest incidence of heart disease.

Fruits, vegetables, and nuts are good for you, no doubt about that but the debate is more about animal sourced protein and fat vs carbs from grains and starchy foods. No long term study has been done on Vegans unless we look at indics and they as a people have one of the highest rate of heart disease in the world.

No , this is meta-analysis it's a meta study of current studies ,and outcome based.
I mean I agree that diet extremes are probably not the best for over all health. I think any diet that requires one to avoid nutrient dense foods like fruits and veggies is not a sound long term diet. Avoiding meat or animal products is probably not good for hormones and the brain, but vegans have the advantage as far as heart health and cancer.
Ketogenic type diets don't have enough research to really comment on their long term effects. The studies on those doing ketogenic diets show that switching to a ketogenic diet lead to caloric deficit and made weight loss easier and one of the benefits was reduced serum cholesterol but they didn't show if long term that arteriol plaque build up didn't happen.Last edited by Iblis_Efreetzai; 06-18-2018, 12:12 AM.

This sounds like my father's cousins who would verbally attack my father and mother because my mother is very dark. The fact is they were no uneducated that everything they said was laughable but it did hurt me as a child to know how they treated my mother.Originally posted by Kakar-Wardak View PostAlso Indic society overbreeds so everything becomes of lower quality, reason why europeans are much taller than Indics and other people's is because the short and ugly men on average can not pass on their genes but every indic no matter how repulsive can pass on his genes through arranged marriage, therefore allowing ****ty genetics to live on lol.
For the sake of your own peace, you need to stop thinking of such nonsense and letting it cloud your mind. Life is so much more than this."The past is not my concern. The future is no longer my concern either. One minute. One minute of everything at once. And anything before is nothing. Everything after nothing. Nothing in comparison to that one minute."

Agreed broOriginally posted by Iblis_Efreetzai View PostBut how do you explain gorillas that are big and muscular but are almost exclusively vegetarian?
I really think other factors are involved....also Chinese, while not exclusively vegetarian have large populations of strict vegetarians and people who have plant based diets, they are certainly not effeminate at least not Indic level.
also add rhinos and elephants to that list too."The past is not my concern. The future is no longer my concern either. One minute. One minute of everything at once. And anything before is nothing. Everything after nothing. Nothing in comparison to that one minute."

Chinese aren't that masculine. They feared the mongols who were meat eating nomads all their history. Most chinese I know complain like women all the time.also Chinese, while not exclusively vegetarian have large populations of strict vegetarians and people who have plant based diets, they are certainly not effeminate at least not Indic level.
