Comparing one animal to another isnt really a good factor since genetics play a huge role. Lions cant live on plants and elephants cant live on meat, that is just genetics. For example, a meat eating diet as well as a non-meat eating diet could both translate to increased obesity levels in a population. America has a growing obesity epidemic and America is also a heavy eat meating nation.



One could argue that non-meat eating diets result in less muscle strength, but on average in both meat-eating and non-meat eating societies there are not that many people who are physically fit to begin with.

Afghans were part of the alliance that dealt the Mongols their only defeat during Genghis Khan's life (at least in their western campaign; I'm not sure if they suffered any losses in the east), and that defeat inspired a bunch of revolts and rebellions against their rule. I'm not sure how the Chinese responded to the Mongol invasions, but I wouldn't say Afghans were afraid of them.

martial arts is very popular in china.
