    2. you failed to provide any evidence at all. your putting up things that provide no evidence, just commentaries. the books reveal nothing. All your sources are disputable that does not back up commentaries with evidence.

What we need is sources that is indisputable. I need sources that explain the economical and social reason why pashtun would be slave owners and had a functioning slave trade like the arabs and europeans had which are undeniable.

I dont need to look at videos of alleged pashtun girls on their dating adventures. we are not debating about that.
again; you live in denial ..and any objective observer can see that.

The videos about pashtun girls on their dating adventures is in response to your idiotic delusion that Pashtuns haven't changed tremendously in rural society.

we're not debating the socioeconomic causes of slavery here ; we're debating whether it exists/existed or it doesn't. So stop changng goal posts.

It isn't that I failed to provide evidence; you failed to accept it out of ignorance and false pride.

except we're not hunter gatherers; we're pastoral nomads, and we have a National identity, The "unruly tribes" is not evidence of anything that unrest exists in societies, that's true about even America, remember the civil war? hmmm

      • Pashtuns did indeed keep slaves and there is no denying this. The massacres and rapes committed by Ahmad Shah Durrani's army after the 3rd battle of panipat were atrocious and recorded by historians. Around 22,000 marathi women were rounded up and were transported on bullock carts to Afghanistan to be sold as slaves and comfort women for afghan men. This would also explain why there are sikhs and hindus in Kabul oh, and lets not forget that the infamous hindu kush mountains is named after hindu slaves who were killed by the cold.

Ofcourse slavery wasn't rampant amongst pashtuns like it was among arabs but the facts still hold.

Sorry if i digged up a 2 year old thread, i thought i would give my 2 cents on this.

Bring sources, dont talk as though you have witnessed this. Your username is from the kushan empire and you know very little about them. the hindu kush is named after the boundary between hind and the kushan empire.

Sikhs and hindus mostly migrated for trade and some settled during the british invasion.

Did your ancestors keep slaves in their homes?

What does the American civil war have to do with what we are talking about.

            You failed on every level.

Khushal i don't like you accusing my knowledge of not knowing anything. Pashtuns were not some holy angels who came to india without slaughtering a few thousand indians to get to Delhi. We were just as brutal as the Mughals, even hindus themselves hate muslims today because they we were murders and looters whether turkic or Pashtun although now it seems like indians love afghans. The Kushan pass theory is JUST a theory. Some scholars say that the word "kush" is a corruption of the farsi word "kusht" meaning killed due to hindus dying there because of the cold. Even if i bring sources forward you will accuse them of being unreliable or anti-pashtun or racist.

As for sikhs, they claim to have been living there for thousands of years so what do you have to say about that? and no my family never kept slaves.

What are you talking about. Nothing you said was about slavery. We are not talking about looting and atrocities, we are talking about slavery.
Sikhism was founded in the 15th century, where did you get thousands of years from.

                    • ^^that guy in the video is not talking about slavery plus he is trying to claim to be indigenous because he fears the people around him just like afghans in America claim to be born here even when they are not just so they could be accepted.

Don't change goal posts, stick to the subject.

and your evidence base is limited. you like to grab things out of your arse and think it proves something. your weakness is your ego.

                        • Well that's a bit of a paradoxical statement because if your knowledge base is limited then consequently your awareness or knowledge of my evidence base would be limited thus your claim wouldn't hold.

Ummm i'm not changing goal posts YOU ARE. The video is proof that he's another indian in denial that his ancestors were probably slaves and brought to afghanistan. And sikhs are settled in northern parts of afghanistan not the east or south where most of the british wars happened.

You seem like you are in denial. The truth is out there now but its up to you to accept that or not.

Sure there are in every major city in Afghanistan. There are Sikh communities in khost, gardez, Jalalabad, Kandahar, ghazni and so on. Ahmed shah brought Sikhs as "nafar hezmat" who were used to take care of horses and other odd jobs much like how the brits used Sikhs and hindus when they invaded Afghanistan. The vast majority of the british army that were slaughtered that were trekking from Kabul to Jalalabad were hindu and Sikh "nafar hezmats."

Stop making things up like this rtr fool.
