Again, I am not sure how old you are. Cause this isn't a tough subject. But I suggest you to do some research before you assume. Just because your professor gave you a lecture, Does not mean you know it at all

Where is the logic in my view? Are you out your mind? My nations constitution DOES NOT PERMIT what you are trying to justify. Do you see the logic now?

Enough to know you are up to no good. As a Muslim, I will never accept Non-Muslims in My Islamic land, forcing the poor the convert into christianity. They did the same exact thing in Nigeria, Look it up.

    Don't shoot me.

    Refrain from derailing the thread.

This is not giving me a good impression of you. You are constantly insulting members. How about we work on teaching those members that according to you, You debated in the past with and they did not meet your standards.

    Look above

    I will try.

Your scaring me away. I never said its equal. Why are you assuming? Like I said before, From an Islamic point of view. FROM AN ISLAMIC POINT OF VIEW, Its unacceptable. In the west, where secularism is allowed. Its acceptable. That is our difference.

    Dear Roara.

Most of these christian groups deceive the people and exploit the poverty that Afghans live in. They only use them for recruitment.

I am amazed at how people such as Qrratgai didnt bring up this point as you was making, that christian groups are there for not only political purposes but to turn the Afghans into Evanglical Americans.

When you live in Poverty, one becomes Desparate and I find it very insulting for people such as Qrratgai to say its good to preach christianity in a country thats suffered from Relgionous/Warlordism/Militant bloodshed for the last 40/50 years.

Afghans should be given air to breath instead of being preached on different values.

    Regards

The difference here is that Muslims were needed in west while ago and since the western world pretends to be standing for equal rights and that way show they 're better than others, they let Muslims 've their mosques at their own costs. Muslims don't go and contribute Quran Sharif in English, these people out of their own will convert to Islam. But these American *******s go to Afghanistan so called in name of ''war on terror'', freedom for its people and all that bull****, but instead fighting actual insurgents they do not only kill innocent civilians, they even convert people from Islam! Soldiers promised thy 're there to fight, since when did spreading their religion became a part of ''war on terror''? And as if these people care for their religiom, is that the reason why they edited their bible a gazzillion times? By God, I 'll never understand people yearning for western acceptance!

It depends on the strength of one's imaan...... if one has a strong imaan then no wonder whoever preaches whatever.........its the wekness (kamzori) of one' s imaan that makes Muslims fall prey to such preachings.....

in a way, knowing other religions helps us to understand Islam better that why and how Islam is the only truth.....

and when here we talk about poverty and people being forced to convert into other religions for money or food.... its again the weakness of one's imaan......cause if we believe in Allah Talla and Allah's power then we know that if Allah has got us to it Allah will also get us through it......

and Pashtuns, one of the strongest races in the world should not fall an easy prey....
when we pashtuns can die for anything, kill easily for anything shouldnt we rather die than convert into any other religion???????????

basically i feel its not the preaching thats a problem but practicing after the preach is problem.........

this Topic has become one of the hottest topic of discussion on PF. Since long i am trying to post something here but have just been reading cause every few minutes theres a post here....

and really wish i knew everybody's real name here on this forum.... cause many are students i guess... in future i would wish see a lot of names in newpapers and on TV news, etc of people in this forum.....everybody talking so much for pashtun's and Afghanistan.....i hope these are not only words,, people do intend to do something for their culture and country......or just living in western countries, with all facilities and amenities, living life to fullest.... planning a better future, having a great job and then enjoying life and only mere words on the forum for their country.........

i see a lot of hot blooded and enthusiastic people here.... if all this would be channeled into right paths what a revolution it would be for pakhtuns and their homeland....

And another thing I forgot to point out is that unlike west, Afghanistan doesn't claim to be a democratic country. The country is known as Islamic nation and therefore they 've got the God given right to be against ''imposing'' of other religions! And as a Muslim u should know that the procedure goes from Christianity to Islam and not the other way round, u can talk about fairness and democracy all u want but also accept the fact that u 're speaking against Islam.

It was a strange way to begin. Obviously, you're not a "pan-Islamist" ... also, not quite sure which cat and bag you're talking about ...

Pan-Islamism or not, the fact is the majority of the world is poor and hopelessly dependant on a Western economic system that is driven by banks and the capital interests of big business. I guess that statement now makes me a communist. You wish to label me? Water off a ducks back.

There are some cultural shifts that come with change of religion - but that's less the point. The dismissive attitude of prosletisers (whatever their target religion) raises eyebrows. Christian missionaries, throughout the third world, prey on economic disadvantage and 19th century Christian missionaries went out with a mission to "civilise" "the natives" (e.g. teach them how to eat using a knife and fork amongst other things).

I don't understand why you want to pick an argument.

To be honest I don't know why you felt the need to jump in with both feet and write me off as promoting fallacies. Clearly I touched a nerve or perhaps you're over sensitive.

Good luck to Brittannia and her attempts to clean up society.

Fundamentally, I believe everyone, third world included, deserves fair treathment - I like the idea of a cultural milleu, but I understand how a majority would wish to protect from external influences - sometimes quite rightly. France, for example, resists American business intrusion. The problem that places like Britain face is in the anti-colonial argument that (quite rightly) challenges the notion that white Europeans had an automatic right to go out into the world and exploit it. "There cannot be unilateral advantage"? I agree - tell that to the foreign policy think tanks in the UK and US.

Economic policies and their effects run deep.

Interesting that you only care for basic human rights when it suits you. So what if they *are* wrong? it's their right to be and say what ever they want, even if it is wrong. If your religion is any better, shouldn't you be able to use free speech to refute what they have to say?

Christianity is a false religion, and there are entire libraries that prove this point where evidence is provided to show how roman empire created christianity and totally distorted the messege of Jesus.

However, no one has ever been able to falsify Islam.

No one has ever been able to prove it, either, but that is a discussion for another thread.

My point still stands -- they are human beings with the basic human rights of free speech, and you have not given sufficient justification to limit that right.

                              What basic human rights?

Preaching a false religion, spreading lies against the prophet Jesus and attributing divinity to creation is a false religion. And it is deception of the masses.

Why should anyone allow people to go around and preach lies?

Is lying to people your definition of basic human right?

It makes sense since those countries who invade and bomb people to pieces are the ones who claim to kill millions for the sake of human rights.

No wonder you are so religiously committed to "human rights".

You just want to perpetuate the spread of lies and falsehood.
