    One question.

What would you say if another religious group wanted to build their place of worship in Afghanistan.
Islam will prevail, a promise made by the Creator of this universe:

[61:8] They desire to extinguish the light of Allah with the breath of their mouths, but Allah will perfect His light, even if the disbelievers hate it.

[61:9] He it is Who has sent His Messenger with the guidance and the Religion of truth, that He may cause it to prevail over all religions, even if those who associate partners with God hate it.

I did. I find them illogical and full of nonsense. All I see is fallacies from an Islamic point of view.

From a neutral/Atheist point of view its fine.

"If Muslims can preach, so can we" But they fail to realize the people there are poor. I can probably create my own religion there and just feed em a dollar a day and they will convert. Why are we eliminating our own religion.

Afghanistan does not make 15 trillion in its GDP so one can argue "they are all educated it wont" Afghanistan is poor. Mark my words, if its allowed, Your cousins will be carrying bibles if they are poor.

From a Afghan constitutional point of view, Its not allowed. So her post is wrong in 2 ways, Constitionally, and Islamically.

I would have the same feelings on it. Afghanistan is an Islamic country, a poor one.

This is exactly what happened to Nigeria, Rich Christians went there, Now look a 70-80 percent Muslim population is becoming less than 50.

people with strong faiths in their religion should never find other religions threatening. should islamic studies be banned from countries such as usa and canada?
if they were being forced in to learning a different religion then i would object.

I am no bird, and no nest ensnares me.

non commercial would cost less if he was in charge himself which he plans on doing. right now it's n herat but soon it will be in qanadahar.

Well if so many people will be leaving Islam and becoming Christian, we should send Sangar over there to start killing them off!

              I already brought this up.

Afghanistan is a poor nation. If you go there and start you religion and name DaZahroJanism I guaranty you, you will succeed. Just give em free food. When they have babies, They will teach their children about DaZahroJanism. Next thing you know, It would be a challenge to convert them from DaZahroJanism to Islam.

Its against our constitution, Our people are not scholars they are uneducated.

                My dear brother,

how do you think we are stuck with Taliban and radical Islam? Because the Wahabis and the Americans have pumped billions of dollars there.

Muslims should be more tolerant towards other faiths.

We are losing more people to Atheism than any other religion.

The Nijashi of Ethiopia was the best in this. He set such a huge example and he was a Christian. We Muslims should do better than him.

He eventually accepted Islam. In due time, if Christians are sincere, we will convert them. Let them come in.

For further understanding, Refer to my example of Nigeria. Unfortunately people are hard-headed and not able to realize once they create a Christian community in our country. They will demand rights. Days off. Its a headache.

i don't care what the value of dollar is. my point is, you can not force people in to believing something they don't believe in.
i don't know where you live but i live in a country where islam is not the only religion. i demand for my rights and days off when it's eid or some other islamic celebration arrives. i m not denied that right and i am thankful to lots of hindus, christians and jews to that.

We Muslims believe in Islam and look at things from Islamic perspective. how can you tell us its ok to open churches and convert people to christianity?

Do you have a drop of common sense that will tell you its wrong? Or are you not Afghan and you just do not care?
Dear brother, calm down and take a deep breath for your own sake!

                            Don't feel attacked, k? 'S all good.

                            What is nonsense?
And where did I say it's okay to convert Muslims to Christianity? I've never, ever said that, bro, so your comment is utterly baseless.

BUT! I don't beleive in double standards; I woudln't support them under any circumstances. I have said over and over only that if MUSLIMS are allowed to build mosques in non-Muslim countries, AND to practice their religion in non-Muslim countries, the non-Muslims should be allowed the exact same thing in Muslim countries. Otherwise, we're denying them a right that we demand of them in THEIR countries. Am I wrong?

The case of Afghanistan is different, however, since one must ask ... how many Christians are in Afghanistan?
IF the answer is, "Very few, if any at all," then my question transforms into the following:

Do you believe it's okay for Muslims to preach Islam or build mosques, etc. in those areas of non-Muslim countries where there are very few or no Muslims? If your answer to THIS question is, "Yes!" then my answer to the question of whether we should allow for churches to be built in Afghanistan will also have to be yes. If your answer is no, then my answer will be on as well.

But if you look at the direction of this thread, you'll note that most of the posts here aren't about whether we can preach Islam or build mosques in non-Muslim countries where there are no Muslims; it's whether non-Muslims are allowed to preach their religion ANYWHERE in Muslim countries. Many members say, "No, because only Islam is the correct religion." I've answered, "Why not? If you can preach your religion to them and demand that they give you your basic human rights (e.g., practice your religion freely) in THEIR land, why can't they have the same right on YOUR land?"

So, yeah, while the topic may be about a poor Muslim country, the posts here aren't about Afghanistan at all; they've changed direction to "my faith is better than everyone else's, and that's why *I* am allowed to preach my religion to the entire world but NO one can preach theirs to ME! Duh - I just SAID I'm on the right path already, you know!"

That, my dear brother, is called double standards, injustice, ignorance, etc.

Go over the Afghan constitution, Take a look at Afghanistans present state. It will make sense to you more.
