Go over the Afghan constitution, Take a look at Afghanistans present state. It will make sense to you more.

Can you please show that part of the constitution?
Islam will prevail, a promise made by the Creator of this universe:

[61:8] They desire to extinguish the light of Allah with the breath of their mouths, but Allah will perfect His light, even if the disbelievers hate it.

[61:9] He it is Who has sent His Messenger with the guidance and the Religion of truth, that He may cause it to prevail over all religions, even if those who associate partners with God hate it.

i don't care for a constitution that doesn't make any sense to me. afghanistan's present state is the result of a bunch arrogant well fed morons who refuse to accept responsibility for their actions. get real please.

If we can preach OUR religion in other people's countries, we have NO right to stop others from preaching theirs in our country.
This is nonsense. Clear you are lack knowledge and are unaware of the Afghan constitution. Do some research before you pass on a judgement. Afghanistan is not developed, Its uneducated. If you create your own religion people will convert based on the wealth you have to offer. That is what christians are doing there. That is why the Government has banned them. Look into it.

        Your entire post is wrong.
        1)Afghanistan's constitution forbiddens it.
2)Its taking advantage of the poor, and its against UN policies. Look at my previous responses for a better understanding. You are coming at this from a neutral perspective, Not a Muslim. If you are not Muslim. It would make more sense.

If your answer is no, then my answer will be on as well.
Again, You are going against Afghanistans constituion and UN policies that go against such churches. There was even the topic here how the churches were banned. Afghan politicians spoke exactly my argument. Take a look at this threads.

Many members say, "No, because only Islam is the correct religion." I've answered, "Why not? If you can preach your religion to them and demand that they give you your basic human rights (e.g., practice your religion freely) in THEIR land, why can't they have the same right on YOUR land?"
Again, Afghanistan is Soverign country, Show respect to it. It forbiddens such things. Afghanistan is 99.9 percent Muslim. From an Islamic perspective, Its not appreciated. They are uneducated. For a dollar you might convert people.

Duh - I just SAID I'm on the right path already, you know!"

That, my dear brother, is called double standards, injustice, ignorance, etc.
This my dear sister is called spreading nonsense, illogical ideas with no coherence.

From a neutral/Atheist point of view its fine.

"If Muslims can preach, so can we" But they fail to realize the people there are poor. I can probably create my own religion there and just feed em a dollar a day and they will convert. Why are we eliminating our own religion.

From a Afghan constitutional point of view, Its not allowed. So her post is wrong in 2 ways, Constitionally, and Islamically.
:p Just becuase you lack the ability to understand my posts, dear brother, doesn't mean they're illogical or nonsensical You say they're illogical and then you say "it's not allowed from a constitutional point of view" -- where's the logic in your view, bro?

And what is so "un-Islamic" about my view on whether non-Muslims can preach their religions in Muslim lands? How MUCH of Islam do you know, anyway?

You wanna discuss logic with me? You wanna discuss Islam with me? Please do. I invite you to ANY debate you'd like to hold with me on ANY topic on logic and/or Islam. I spend every day of my life studying Islam, and I find nothing more exciting to do with my time. So it'll be a pleasure, to say the least! I never tire from them. But before you even start, you must know what you're talking about; we already have enough of people around who THINK they know stuff but in reality don't -- and even when, in rare cases, they do, they lack the ability to hold a decent discussion (or they lack good manners; no one seems to have taught them how to behave in public), so that makes their posts very unpleasant to read.

Stick around, and you'll see what I mean.

P.S. Neutral doesn't equal atheist, or vice versa. Shocked? Don't be. You'll see it yourself in due time as you read more members on PF.

Look at North America. A place that is supposed to "hate Muslims" and be intolerant of other religions. Here, it is a Christian deemed part of the world. We get all the days off for Christian holidays.
BUT, we can still practice our religion. There are sikh temples, buddhist temples, MANY MANY mosques. We are tolerated and accepted.
Of course, I am sure some non-Muslims may oppose to these places being built - it is a fact and we can't avoid it.
I work in a school board run by Christians. I get Christmas holidays, Easter holidays, etc. And when I have EID, they grant me my days off. They know when Ramadan is for me.
Quite frankly - we can't avoid things evolving. Just as Islam is spreading SUPER DUPER fast in the West, we can't expect Christians not to try the same thing in the East. I just wish them luck! Muslims for the vast majority are a lot more religious than many other religions.

              @ DaNangarharZwan:

Wait ... is this about Afghan's constitution or about Islam? And is it wrong to go against ANY constitution?

Just so you know, my thoughts are in general; they're not about whether the Afghan constitution allows for non-Muslims to build their temples/churches/etc. in Afghanistan or not.

IF that was the case, there'd be nothing to discuss, right? The matter would be simple and over: "The Afghan constitution doesn't allow for churches to be built, so the Christians have no right to do this. This is NOT up for discussion! It's a conclusive remark, and there's nothing to discuss about this. All humans, particularly Afghans and Muslims, MUST agree; if they disagree, they're going against the constitution, they're being un-Islamic, and they're being illogical."

Wow. And that makes sense to certain people? :S Where's the sense?

Enough to know you are up to no good. As a Muslim, I will never accept Non-Muslims in My Islamic land, forcing the poor the convert into christianity. They did the same exact thing in Nigeria, Look it up.

Your scaring me away. I never said its equal. Why are you assuming? Like I said before, From an Islamic point of view. FROM AN ISLAMIC POINT OF VIEW, Its unacceptable. In the west, where secularism is allowed. Its acceptable. That is our difference.

What's the point of having the sorta faith that's changed by a dollar? If your religion is so clearly correct, why would any preacher alter it? Is our national identity so weak that it can be changed just like that?

If our people can believe that there was a man who was also his own son and the intermediary between them who died on a cross but then went up to heaven to live with his father even though the father and son were always one being to begin with and if you symbolically eat his/their flesh and blood, you'll be 'saved'.... if our people can believe THAT, they might as well become Hindus for all I care. Jai Raam, anyone?
"If a nation expects to be ignorant and free, in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be".

"Knowledge will forever govern ignorance; and a people who mean to be their own governors must arm themselves with the power which knowledge gives".

WHAT??? LOL! Oh my God! Mind quoting me on where I dared to disrespect or insult the constitution of the land of my ancestors?

And, by the way, in your post before this one, you don't seem to understand the meaning of logic. There's nothing logical about not permitting something just because a constitution doesn't support it. That has nothing to do with logic; that has to do with ... oh, supporting the constitution. Nationalism, perhaps. Or patriotism, too.

LOGIC would play a role in the discussion/perspective if we were questioning whether the constitution is RIGHT to forbid such a thing -- or whether it's logical or illogical for the constitution to forbid it. Otherwise, it has nothing to do with logic :|

As far as Islam is concerned, whenever you wanna tell us that something's un-Islamic, please remember to give evidence from the Quran and/or hadiths. Or then don't say that at all, 'cause anyone can come here and say, "This is haraam!" or "This is un-Islamic!" or "That's not acceptable in Islam!" but why should we listen if it's not explained/proven why it's haraam/unacceptable/un-Islamic? And how can we trust that that's really the case?
