What do Pakistan Pashtuns look like, Indic or Iranic?

Some may, I'm not so sure as I haven't met any personally that base it solely on paternal lineage. In my experience, the mixed ones identify as mixed. They say my mother is this, my father is that.

How would you explain the Syeds who are pashtuns?

Almost all do, the some may, I've never seen an example of. Some fringe does not define Pashtuns....

Sayyids are not Pashtuns ......and historically Sayyids have never been considered Pashtuns, you can even look this up.

Pashtuns are already a mixed people, what you see in the picture is evidence of that.

What I am saying is a Half Pashtun is not the same as a full Pashtun...doesnt matter if the other half is from European (like the white guy you posted) or Africa....the red head guy I posted was a full Pashtun (meaning he is not some half European or some ****) and is probably what most Pashtuns and other Iranian people looked like in ancient times before absorbing genes from neolithic farmers from middle east...the Eastern Iranics had sharp facial feauters which is still overwhelminglybpresent in most Afghans who doesnt show any strong Mongoloid, Australoid/ASI or Semitic/neo-lithic admixture...

But your view is biased since your a halfie, you belong to several different ethnicities....

Would they be Pashtun? Pashtuns are geographically restricted to Asia-Middle East-South Asia. So there's limited Mixing, but when there is you become identified as Pashtun from your father's line.

No last guy would still not be full Pashtun...he would still be a diluted Pashtun, no different fom a Pashtun mixed with Arab, Black or Chinese, since Europeans are a mixture of different people having absorbed genes from people, Pashtuns and Eastern Iranians didnt came across.

According to genetics; Pashtuns are already a mixture of different groups. So pretty much all Pashtuns are "Halfies". Go look at the charts you won't find 100% of anything. All genetic charts show 51% R1a 16 % Q-M242 etc etc. So this idea of a Pure Group is just unscientific to say the least,


And how do you know this guy was "full" Pashtun? He might be part Nuristani, as Red hair is more abundant among them than Pashtuns. Did you ask him? All you did was google image search, that's barely a reliable contingence to make scientific. MOST Pashtuns resemble these men.

Well you're not Pashtun on any level so, it doesn't matter. The culture has decided what the standard of Pashtun identity is ....If your dad's Pashtun, you're Pashtun.

Those guys are all old, and heavily tanned...since when we using old people to determine what a group of people looks like?

Also stop with the mixing BS...as I have said earlier....Pashtuns are no more "mixed" than Japanese, Swedes, or Nigerians are....so saying Pashtuns are "already halfies" is not Correct...halfie of what??? Whatever mixings occured, they occured in pre-historic times, and Pashtuns have a pretty consistent appearence despite the varieties in eyes and hair colors.

Something is considered 'mixed' or 'halfie' when the mixing occurs after the establishment of the group....ei. halfie ha yemeni + Pashtun = halfie....
