May be your right but i had heard it differently that after the agreement of durrandline in british india era,the pashtun fought against the british forces but no help came from Afghanistan side and was the reason they could not successfully secceed back into Afghanistan

After the creation of Pakistan, within less than a year,Pashtuns captured 37% of kashmir which even today pakistan hold and has a extremely strategic value for pakistan.

Well i had come across many sources claiming that Bacha khan didnt wanted to be part of Pakistan rather to remain with india but i have never come across a single source which claimed that bacha khan during the partition wanted to become part of Afghanistan.

Though i am sure if Pashtun majority region would have remained out of Pakistan and rather with india, the merger with Afghanistan was inevitable later.
From your post it seems you have no idea about the world and dispute amongst the different countries. So I leave it at that.

How you interpreted history is none of my business. If you wanna ignore some facts so it can suit you better then be my guest. Those Pashtuns who lived at that time is most likely dead anyway and the youth don't know the other side of the story.

Regarding the war against British then every historian or Pashtun will know that Pashtuns have never been one unity. Every tribe fought on its own. That what made it difficult for British because they didn't know who to negotiate with and was one of the main reason Britain lost huge amount troops in Afghanistan and other Pashtun areas. Pashtun was refereed to as Noble savages. No Pashtun any given time expected help from other tribes. To simplified it for you it was Tribal war against the British.

Whether you believe it or not, I couldn't care less to be honest. People in pashtunkhwa will interpret history different way so it doesn't look like they are the fault in division of Pashtuns. So basically I am not exactly expect you or other Pashtuns in Pakistan to believe it. I just responded because you brought it up. So I will end the discussion here.
Don't quote me or speak to me if you hate Afghanistan, you be ignored.

well it's Pashtun forums, not PASHTO forums, you can speak Pashto but when you're speaking Pashto to a Punjabi, it makes it seem like you're trying way too hard.

That's just your inferiority complexes' coping mechanism. Whatever helps you sleep better at night, maybe you can keep make believing Pashtuns are 6000 years old because they kept their language secret this whole time because they didn't write it down until suddenly they started doing so a few hundred years ago. Amazing. lol

I am not ignoring the fact but the thing i do know is that Bacha khan rather wanted to stay with India. Not with Pakistan or Afghanistan.

And Pashtun within less than an year were ready to capture 37% of land in Kashmir.

Yes after the durrandline agreement in 1897 Pashtun did wanted to join back Afghanistan and had fought with the british forces but Help from Afghanistan didnt came.

                                A simple Question.

Why would Pakistani army need pashtun recruit as cannon fodder? Can't they just recruit 21% more punjabis instead of recruiting pashtuns?

Well you should know in Pakistan the competition to get into army is as much higher as much it is to get into a Medical or engineering college.so the addition of 21% more punjabis into the army won't be a big deal for them.
