Yes after the durrandline agreement in 1897 Pashtun did wanted to join back Afghanistan and had fought with the british forces but Help from Afghanistan didnt came.
I already explained these point, but you're just repeating them over again. Most intellectuals already know the history and knows why Pakistani Pashtuns act/interpret this way today.

Funny thing is I just had studies regarding peoples psychology. People understand and see things the way they want it to be. Even if I gave you a history book regarding this, you will still view it and interpret it to your liking. That why I don't want to discuss this issue with you, because I already know your answers.
Don't quote me or speak to me if you hate Afghanistan, you be ignored.

Well i will accept it as my mistake if you could support your claim with a proper source.

Because i believe as long as we don't accept our mistakes and remain in denial mode,we will never succeed.

Probably the reason i always accept my mistake.

A simple Question.

Why would Pakistani army need pashtun recruit as cannon fodder? Can't they just recruit 21% more punjabis instead of recruiting pashtuns?

Well you should know in Pakistan the competition to get into army is as much higher as much it is to get into a Medical or engineering college.so the addition of 21% more punjabis into the army won't be a big deal for them.

What source do you need and regarding what? Sources are easy achievable but it is your interpretation of the sources that is the problem. To give you an example, you can read your post again and see how you repeated the same thing, even though I had just answered it.

Well, khuday pa aman. I will end this discussion now, I have to go to work early morning.

I see you guys are being very diplomatic in your answers. Bringing in politics and history is great and all, but I am talking about the innate hatred.

I have been to Peshawar and even the city Pashtuns are called Punjabis by the rural Pashtuns.

lol

Pakwatan brother i have already answered you in pashto but since you are punjabi i will translate it for you in english now but i didn't want to speak english on this forum since its pashtun forum.

i said in original post quoted above:

this is a very big problem. Pakwatan brother, you think that all afghans hate punjabis but this is not true.
on this forum there are many cheap people who use all the time bad language but we don't know if they are actually afghans or not.

now regarding rural pashtuns calling city pashtuns as punjabis:

traditionally pashtuns of pakistan used to recognize only two kinds of people who were pashtuns and punjabis so when pashtuns went to the cities and started adopting new culture or losing their rural culture, the village people started calling them as punjabi to say that they were no longer pashtun. it was not meant as an insult to punjabis, rather it means that the city people are no longer pashtun and so they became punjabis in the eyes of the rural people who were true pashtuns and they didn't know names of other groups apart from pashtuns and punjabis. if you meet a pashtun from pakistan, he will ask you: pakhun ye ka punjabi? meaning are you pashun or punjabi?

Pakwatan
As DSM0305 hinted at, if you already believe that "Afghans have innate hatred"; then no amount of responses will change your stance. However, for the 5th time, claiming "Pashtuns have innate hatred for Punjabis"; is no different than the "Punjabis hate Afghans/Pashtuns" rhetorics. What is the common denominator between the two arguments? Both are spewed by uneducated imbeciles.

Even if the entire population of Afghanistan in a survey mentions that they do not hate Punjabis, it still won't change your mind, since your brainwashed and conditioned. It will take you quite a while to realize that the ground realities are as following:

a)Pashtuns of both sides of the line are getting butchered, including Sindhis and Punjabis.
b)No body has time in both nations to be hating one another, they are busy making their livelihoods. The *hate* game usually comes from ex-pat Punjabis or ex-pat Pashtuns living abroad, that have nothing to do with ground realities.
c)When Afghans back home usually criticize Pakistan, it is the government and its foreign policies that usually involve sponsoring terrorism. It is a known fact that Pakistan exports terrorism in the region. Whether it be China, India, Afghanistan, or the USA, most of these terrorists are trained in Pakistan, under the umbrella of Pakistani institutions. There are plenty of documentaries outlining the madrassas where young Pashtun children are being trained to become suicide bombers; Do you have a problem with Pashtuns/Afghans criticizing the government of Pakistan for such findings? You, yourself, condemned the Pakistani Army for what it was doing in a thread of yours.

"In 2009, Pakistani President Asif Zardari admitted at a conference in Islamabad that Pakistan had, in the past created terrorist groups as a tool for its geostrategic agenda"

My advice to you is always be logical, and don't be paranoid. Always remember that a true Muslim would never have *hatred* towards another fellow, innocent Muslim, and avoid being 'proud', but don't be embarrassed of who you are. I know plenty Pakistanis in NY, who usually introduce themselves as Indians cause they are embarrassed of being Pakistani. Always be humble.

Best,

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!
