So why do you Pashtuns/Afghans hate Punjabis?

A question I'd like to ask all Afghans?

From my understanding, the Afghans only ever fought Sikh Punjabis, not Muslim Punjabis.

So I would like to ask you guys what you hate about us?

Is it because of our language?

Is it because we are dark skinned?

Is it because we have money due to agriculture?

Is it because our politicians are Punjabi?

Is it because of the jokes we have for Pashtuns?

Is it because you consider us as non-muslim?

Is it because of racism?

Is it because you like to disassociate yourselves from our dark skin?

Is it because our language sounds unappealing to you?

Is it because we work hard in our fields to grow crops?

Is it because the corrupt politicians that have risen in the nation, happen to have Punjabi background?

Is it because that some of our ancestors were not Muslim?

Is it because our jokes are funny and true, regarding you and ourselves?

I would like the nationalists and racists to have their say. I would like them to speak their mind with no reservations.

The fact is that many of the Punjabi-Pakistani youth are the only supporters of Afghan people. I would like them to realize the truth, that even though they consider Afghans brothers, Afghans hate our people. Punjabis in Pakistan support Afghan rights more than our own Pashtuns do.

Perhaps they can realize that our Pashtuns are right in not accepting Afghans. I am not speaking for all Afghans, because many intellectual and decent minded Afghans have nothing against Punjabis. But from what it seems, the vast majority of Afghanis and Kabulis are poised to hate and humiliate Pakistanis.

Let this thread be the testament to Punjabis, that Afghans are not your Muslim brothers, and neither your neighbors. They consider you dushman, and consider you as filth.

As punjabis are the masters of the country,true inheritors of british raj......so taking down you people should be the best course. If sindhis were majority in pakistan and were running the shown, our hostility would have been directed towards them.

Have you read my posts in this forum? Have you read other peoples posts to me? This is Internet, random people comes and call each other names. Actually there are very few discussion I have participated where insults weren't thrown at each other. If a few harassment and name calling effect your daily life and more importantly your opinion, then you should never use Internet again. I am not just talking about this forum, but computer and Internet in general. That is just how the virtual world works. You meet random unknown/unidentified people who discuss random topics.
For all you know, I could be Russian, and for all I know, you could be American. How can you or any other person prove that I am not a punjabi for example, or you being a Sindhi or something else.

Everyday Afghans haven't time to think about Punjabis or other people. Most of them live in poverty and have struggle to put food to their table for their family.
To put it simple
Poor Afghans = struggle for survival
Rich Afghans = struggle for power within their country

You live in delusion and for some odd reason you think/believe people in the Internet are representative for the different ethnicities/countries...
What I personally do is take what I can use for the real world and ignore the rest.

Panjabis are not running the show in Pakistan. All the ethnic groups are in on it except probably baluch. The problem in Pakistani is how the power is distributed with the feudal landlords. The reason the Brits could not extend their influence beyond FATA was because feudalism had not been established beyond that point. They left behind a corrupt state that would keep the region in conflict with itself.

Afghans don't hate panjabis. The hatred towards Pakistan stems from 2 points. The first is the Tajik narrative of blaming Pashtun resistance on Pakistan. They are trying to deflect blame from their own shortcomings, their own corruption onto Pakistan just like how the Pakistani leadership blames everything on India. Its a political tactic to summon support so those corrupt politicians can stay in power.

Point 2 is that Pakistan betrayed the Taliban and the double game that Pakistan is playing by supporting the Taliban and giving supply lines to NATO/afghan gov.

Most Afghans actulay don't like PAkistan as a whole country. And not Punjabis as one group, and the simple reason for this is, is that PAkistan supported all the radicals and jihadist groups and even now they support and claim that jihad is allowed in Afghanistan, what results in a lot of death, war and terror.

And to make things even more worse they also support USA war in Afghanistan, actualy if Pakistan only supported taliban and the rebels, people would also see you as brothers, but you don't do that, you turnd from Afghanistan missery your own sick business, by getting money from US and at the same time supporting the taliban and other shady people.

And this is done also by Pashtuns from Pakistan not only Punjabies. And to be honest, Afghan never say I hate Punjabies, its most of the time Pashtuns from Pakistan are hating on Punjabies becuase they live with you, not us Afghans. Afghan hate the whole country Pakistan, but not al, some just don't even care, they don't make a difference between the ethnic group.

Claiming someones territory isn't an act of war. There is several countries who have dispute over land and most of them have either good or normal relation.

Pakistan back then was very weak and sought assistance with neighbors to counter India.

In Pakistan Pashtun abandon even the vote in protest. Most of them wanted to be part of Afghanistan. Since back then Afghanistan was ruled by Pashtun elites, they tried to unite with people who themselves wanted to be part of Afghanistan I must add.

Afghanistan didn't fear Pakistani army/military and would probably have taken Pashtunkhwa if they didn't meet resistance from some local Pashtuns. As I mention before Afghanistan was ruled by Pashtun elites and that why they backed off Pakistan, because they didn't want to hurt Pashtuns. Militarily Afghanistan was a lot stronger than Pakistan back then, but Afghanistan didn't want to sacrifice Pashtun blood for a bit of land.

To sum it all up. Afghanistan was willing to go in military confrontation when Pashtuns in Pakistan wanted, and Afghanistan was willing to back off when pashtuns in Pakistan didn't want military confrontation. So basically Afghanistan was working for Pashtun interest, it not Afghanistan's fault that mixed signals was send by Pashtuns in Pakistan.

And right here is exactly the problem I have with Pashtuns, if Pashtuns were the ones who inherited the power dynamics in our favor, we'd be fine with it. Which reveals what really is bothering us is not that we're being oppressed but that we're bitter because we're getting a taste of our own medicine. After hundreds of years tyrannizing everyone from Hazaras to Uzbeks to Tajiks and to Indians, it's all come back and boomeranged. We need to start showing a little humility.

I'm an Afghan Pashtun, in fact my background is one from one of the most reputed clans in Afghanistan but I won't harp on that, just stating it as a preemptive rebuttal against your ready made defense mechanisms.
