I see you guys are being very diplomatic in your answers. Bringing in politics and history is great and all, but I am talking about the innate hatred.

I have been to Peshawar and even the city Pashtuns are called Punjabis by the rural Pashtuns.

In pakhtunkhwa word punjabi is used as an insult, the word is synonymous with beghairat, spineless and coward......
Also if some one doesnt pray nimaz then he is called punjabi or barailay (bareilvi) as insult......

As it is released by Pakistan army itself , its official stats, so it must be accurate. Note that punjabis are 71% at that time and they are planning to bring it down to 59%.....which may not have happened at all.

why afghan hate punjabis ?
The reason is that pakistani establishment control by punjabis and they are the key decission makers.Now this establishment have a policy to interfare in afghan affairs to make afghanistan a weaker state and creat a pupet govt in kabul .
Farthermore the pakistani establishment do not recognise afghanistan as an independent country.
They tried everything to make afghanistan a pupet of pakistan and finally make it its fifth province.
They even back stabed their own created talibs after the US shower dollars on pakistani govt.
Every afghan patriotic leader is hated by pakistani establishment.
Can afghan do this in pakistan?
So these are the few reason why they hate pakistan and the blame gose to punjabis cus they are the ruling class.

But i do,nt think they hate punjabis racaily.
The ordinary punjabis are normal people and very open to all ethnicities.
They welcome non-punjabis to their land and do not hate them but their establishment is evil.some of them are good muslims and do not care about your background.
These few afghans on this forum calling punjabis dark skin or whatever do not represnt the broader afghan view.
In fact they themselves living in west where white man hate dark skin so they have a bad experaince of skin colour .There the white men call them dark,yellow,indains,olive,middle eastren etc so this is i called mental illness due to skin colour.


I would say the afghans and punjabis are more freindly to eachothers then pashtuns of pakistan.
Also durandline is another issue between the two countries but the afghan govt no longer interested in this due to on going war.

Do,nt forget that most members of this forum from afghanistan are parsi speakers and they hate you cus you did support the talibs against tajiks.
Gulbudin,haqani,omar and many other pashtuns from afghanistan are in fact very close to pakistani establishment.
You trained them and funded them untill this day.
As long as pakistan keep its afghan policy this situation will continue.
If you punjabis realy treat afghan brothers then put presure on your politicains not to interfare in the afghan affairs.
The iran and others should also stop funding the northren allaince of tajiks.
The other problem is that iran and others supporting tajik dominated northren allaince and that make pakistan ,s job easy cus pashtuns will look to the east for help.

I as a eastren pashtun living in pashtunkhwa dislike punjabi eatablishment policies towards minorities for many reason and you know that very well.
Untill we get our own pashtunistan this conflict between pashtun and punjabis will continue.
It dose,nt matter if some oppertunists pashtuns supporting pakistan when the time come these oppertunists will be the first one to die.
pakistan is hell for minorities.
For how long the pakistani sponser mullas will make fool of the world.
After all i d not hate ordinary punjabis cus many of our own pashtuns far worst then punjabis.
The ordinary punjabis are human like us and they are suffering cus of this corrupt state.
If pakistan was muslim country it will never treat minorirties like that where the pakistani govt stealing sorces from smaller nations and do not recognise their language,cultures and rights.
