Its simple, all the political parties wanted to make it because a dictator had made some weird changes ... what you think

But it didn't happen overnight for the actual supporters of the creation idea. In the present scenario Pashtuns are far more dangerous for Pakistan and even a slight uprising will completely destabilize Pakistan.

Besides, the tides have changed against Pakistan. Pakistan can't continue its coersive tactics any more.

Pukhtane have been brainwashed for the last 60 years to make them forget their identity and keep them devided so it will be easy to rule.

that was a british policy which pakistan adopted.
This can all happen with the youth and education ,do you know this small Afghan ruled india (including pakistan)which had maybe hunred times higher population?
sorry i can't support it from the grave... i am not seeing any such brave pukhtun leader in the next 1000 years...

But the dictator had got it approved from the assembly to keep Punjab's hegemony. What do you think what forced Punjab to let lose that hegemony? Do you know that actual reasons of the dissolution of the first constituent assembly in 1954? Do you know the reasons of the dismissal of Sikander Mirza's regime in 1958?

Why have are so overly relying on personalities? If you don't see any change then you seem to be too detached from the reality as well as change in the offing.

No, that has nothing to do with the hegemony of punjab. There was not democracy and no constitutional assembly. It was all a one man show and he did it for his own self only.
He did every illegal act for stregnthening his own chair and nothing else...

I'm sorry but you know very little about Pakistan or its history. I asked you about the very first constituent assmebly of Pakistan which got dissolved by Ghulam Muhammad.

But things are rapidly changing. The suicide attacks on Maulana Fazul Rahman is also part of the tactics, to stop political activities in Pashtunkhwa at any cost. The attacks weren't really aimed at Maulana.

That is what I wanted to tell you that the tide has changed against Pakistan. The renaming of Pakhtunkhwa, the changes in the constitution and the recent visits of the Army and civilian leaderships are just signs of that change. Soon you will see many more changes.

And this all heavily depends on the stability of Afghanistan. But I think Pakistan has lost all its cards now. It no more could pose existential threat to Afghanistan just as it could do during the cold war era.
