LOL, one day, years from now, you'll wake up an old man and wonder... how did I waste so many of my youthful years in folly. I neither was the Ahmad Shah Baba of yore incarnate, nor did the leaders and sons of the leaders of the party I partake in sacrifice what I did. At the end of it all, I neither benefited the cause, myself, or the world. Instead, I danced to a tune that enslaved and wrought fire down on the heads of thousands of my brethren in the land that I derived from. And when I tried to nudge the masses here into action, they left me behind, and abandoned me. And then, you will remember this day, and wish that you could have asked yourself for the data. And maybe, just maybe, you will rise in the ranks of your party. Your belly, like Gilanis and Zardaris, and Wali Khan's and Asfandyaar's will grow at the midline... and source of it will be corrupt earnings, because the state you function in is propped up by the power you serve. You will realize that you were but a cog in the machine. I dont blame you, I know many others here and wordwide that are asleep at the wheel, not asking the right questions. I just pray and hope that the reality does not crush you. Trust me, I hope I am wrong. I hope your narrative of a joint Pashtunistan with Starbucks around every corner comes into being. I hope Harvard of Peshawar and Nangrahar build great collaborations etc. But unfortunately, I see reality is, in the words of Johnny Cash: A long black train.Originally posted by khyaal View PostI've well seen your comments about me. But believe me you have just got english skills and nothing more. I won't get impressed the least from your rhetoric. You are so selfish and self-centered.

lol, look, if it makes you happy, Ill stop. You'll see no more commentary from me on the subject since you appear to think that I have poor graveyardofempires in some mental strangle hold (which is an insult to his intelligence by the way). You can go on living this way for all I care. Whatever makes you happy brother. It is not I that will suffer should your plans go awry. Its you and your children very likely based on the models steeped in reality, unless Allah himself wills it otherwise, which I pray he does good by you. Just know as a last word on the subject from me, that by not endorsing reality and an evidence based approach and by marching on a mapped out ahistorical road, you are doomed to fail. If however, you want to exchange ideas on how to make your platform work and accomplish your goals, then we can talk some more. I have no problem with an exchange of ideas. You can shoot down what you like and keep what you like of it. As I noted, to date your party has failed in all of its goals save changing a province's name. And now, per that article BengalTiger posted, it appears that despite Farhat Taj's work, the party is abandoning its prodone and antitaliban talks platform. That may be a step in the right direction, or it may merely be more opportunism in that they recognize this war of attrition is waring down NATO.Originally posted by khyaal View PostBarakzai! Not at all brother, I like you more than you know. If I simply danced to your tune, I would be doing you injustice. In a party made of "yes men" you need fresh blood and some alternative thought processes. Instead of labeling the diaspora as wahhabi and lost, you would have done well to take advantage and ask us about our views as we see things from the outside. Take a look at all your, Toramana, and a few others heres postings and you will see, lock, stock, and barrell, the same exact rhetoric, the same exact insults, and the same exact conspiracy mongering. At some point when I meed Admin Khan Ill show him my Yale paystubs and he is welcome to confirm that there is no input from the ISI into my bank account or into my fathers accounts. Until then, you can continue to live in virtual reality.Originally posted by khyaal View PostYou are so selfish and self-centered."2 crackheads don't become any better or stronger by sharing the same crack pipe." - Greatest PF quote

Btw take a look at the violent insurrections in Kurdistan as an example of what I am simply asking you for. That brand of insurgency very well allows one to surmise that Turkish kurds are fomenting for autonomy. The anecdote may need some data to buttress it, but the anecdote is strong. As I noted before, there is, sadly, no similar movement in KP... except led by the ones you seek to kill.Originally posted by khyaal View PostYou are so selfish and self-centered."2 crackheads don't become any better or stronger by sharing the same crack pipe." - Greatest PF quote

Wrong, they're not interested in ethno-centric nationalism. If anything, they're interested in taking OVER Pakistan, not seperating from. They're lexicon is Pak-centric, and the solutions they strive for are for ALL of Pakistan. Your point still stands though, there is no movement within Pak Pashtuns, political or militant, that seeks the ends people blabber about on the internets.Originally posted by BarakzaiAbdali View PostBtw take a look at the violent insurrections in Kurdistan as an example of what I am simply asking you for. People can make themselves feel better about the ANP/PMAP "biding their time" or "being shrewd", their facts and actions speak otherwise. Either way even if they were playing to the gallery in hopes of covering their secret agenda, they're impotent and strategically irrelevant. They HAVE to play to the tune others set, that's the reason for their existence.
