    I am very religious

Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

And now suddenly I am a kaffir. -_- And we should get a grip and carry on with our lifes when we are not even allowed to shape ouw own life without some bearded ape nagging about how it is against Islam and we will burn in hell. You islamist need to chill and get a grip and stop pushing your interprentation of Islam on to others.

Yeah tell me about it, and they push everyone who still belives in God but asks questions about Quran and its teachings automaticaly as an atheist/kafir. If they did not want Islam to be questioned they should not mix it with poitics and make it a law. Otherwise people like us will always excist and question it.

Truth is that there is no God and all religions are fake. No doubt about this.
So you just want to build your country and civilization on lies? And what are you going to do when people get more educated and know that truth?

Karachi is the only Pakistany person on this forum who is intelegent and a normal guy. He knows the bad things that Pakistan goverment and army does, and he speaks out about it. He does not belive in this so called Islamic utopia that most nationalistic brainwashed pakis belive. He is more down to earth, if more Pakistanies were like him our region would be more peacefull.
But still he also sees the good things and he is only against Islam as a totalitarian state ideology. And I dont know what is wrong with that.

Then we will be ready to take it to the next level. Right now secularism would more bad than good in most of Islamic countries. We had an Atheist government from 1979 to 1992 and it was awful. A disaster. We can not impose secularism on people. People must embrace it. And that will take years. Decades. May be even more than a century. Only way to reach that goal is through education and patience.

BTW every civilization is built on lies and fairy tails. Its what in the West is called "Origin myth".

Indeed brother I have nothing but respect for Karachi. Unlike most of Pakistanis he is not in denial. My statement was addressing self hater Indians such as Tilla and Orakzai.

I disagree. There are plenty of Atheist among Afghans they just don't dare to speak out. Basically they would be sidelined by most of Afghans. This happens in every community regardless their ethnic background. I know many Tajik atheist or non religious. I bet the same thing happens among Pashtuns after all we are not that different.

At the end of the day most of Muslims in the West are cultural Muslims. Being a minority is difficult so they grow a strong identity pride. Most of Afghans I know don't pray five times a day. Many specially among the youth drink alcohol and they like partying, hanging out friends and chasing girls. They suddenly become pious believers during Ramadan but the rest of the year they enjoy sin.

We have to respect our identity and our roots but we have also to move on and change our mentality. Our lack of education is the main reason behind our failure as civilization. We still stuck in the past specially in old Shia-Sunni dichotomy

We've discussed many many many concepts here repeatedly. Others and I have talked about Maliki and Hanafi interpretations of rape punishments etc.

I discuss "serious" concepts with men, not b-itch slaves that play the equivalent of "white-face" and whose go to response is "You know you are being sneaky and using Taqiyah." If I have a thousand jar head hillbillies I can use for that go to answer.
oh yes, all the suicide bomber Talibans you support are very ahead of everyone, they have reached the heavens before anyone indeed. Just because I am secular doesn't mean I am white supporter, Seculrism has been around way before Whites or Europeans, even many early intelligent Muslims were actually secular

Translation: Lemme reach for the old Robbie Spencorian suicide bomber canard. Maybe the secular militant girls on the site might pm me and I can diversify my options. After all, Jennifer is taking her sweet time.

Translation: If I keep this this to myself over and over again one day I'll be brave enough to tell mommy and daddy that I am a mod man... and they will just have to deal with jennifer drinking a Heinekin at the table.

Translation: Im very confused about myself. I disavowed the 5 daily prayers yet I am an "intelligent" Muslim yet my need to reproduce with Jennifer is bringing me to full on pantheonism... what is a slave to do with so many demands on himself? don't people get the fact that I got "mah man needz" ?
Lol. Keep reaching for the Spencer and Pamela Geller logic. Maybe you can be third wheel in that torrid meeting of the minds and bumping of literal uglies.

I am not talking about politics. Its a personal thing. I feel closer to an Arab, Turk, Malay or Bosniak because of religion. I bet same thing happens to you.

The average Muslim has a strong sense of brotherhood. Our politicians are corrupt but our people are not. idealism is a strong driving force. West lacks of it now. Muslims don't. Don't underestimate it.
