There is a "brotherhood" among Westerners; they share language, culture & values.Originally posted by Firdousi View PostI am not talking about politics. Its a personal thing. I feel closer to an Arab, Turk, Malay or Bosniak because of religion. I bet same thing happens to you.
The average Muslim has a strong sense of brotherhood. Our politicians are corrupt but our people are not. idealism is a strong driving force. West lacks of it now. Muslims don't. Don't underestimate it.
They even have NATO.
As for the "brotherhood" among Muslims, I've seen very little of it.
All the older generation Afghan Muslims I met hung around only with other Afghan Muslims.
The same goes for Arabs Turks, Somalis, they only mingle with their own.
Many Westerners are interested in each others culture, they even try to learn each other's languages.
I've seen none of this among Muslims.Last edited by Damir9000; 04-17-2016, 08:21 AM.

Brotherhood among Westerners has improved under the umbrella of American Empire and his Magna Pax American. Sooner or later this will end. Nothing last forever and after all this crazy war in the ME West is weaker than 15 years ago.Originally posted by Damir9000 View PostThere is a "brotherhood" among Westerners; they share language, culture & values.

Speak for yourself brother. Have you ever been to Holland, Germany or UK? Most of Afghans have Turk, Iranian or Arab friends.
Western world is far ahead of Islamic one. This must change. We have to work for our own future. Why Muslims always expect Kafirs to do everything for them?Last edited by Firdousi; 04-17-2016, 09:37 AM."For thirty years, I endured much pain and strife,

I was specifically talking about older generation of immigrants who were born in their own countries.
The youth & Muslims born in the west tend to mix more.
You can also look at the news, The newly arrived migrants from Afghanistan, Iraq, Somalia, Syria tend to split themselves up by Nationality or Language & fight each other.
The brotherhood among Muslims is just cheap talk.
How is the West weaker now?Last edited by Damir9000; 04-17-2016, 11:18 AM.

Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

Religion is at once powerful and terrifying, it's an assembly of ideas so enveloping it can bring order or chaos to the world. Those who shun are too feeble to understand its power.
