if u dont blame men then who u gonna blame, american, pakistani, or the ladies?

anyhow not our concern, we r out of that world :P and nor we r from those guys taliban, mashallah we all educated and from high standard families, therefore we shouldnt bother saying these things,

taliban was just an example for being locked up, what i mean is we dont give right to our women thats why we r still in third class, and third world,

take an example of this site, why is it so active, interesting ect, the reason for that is we all united men and women thats why, if it was only for men im sure no one ever wanted to vist the site, thats how it will work in real life too im sure.
on other hand afghan men says its safe for them to be at home they r safe ect, if all we afghans and we all respect for ladies, so when they go out who makes ladies life unsafe? men obviously

never mind lets end it here, no point :P

Your points are valid, and I agree to some extent. However, I didn't say I don't 'blame' men. Rather I said, I would not put the entire blame on them. There are two sides to a coin, and in such cases, many more. There is not one contributing factor to such a large issue you speak of.

As you wish, but I feel you may have misunderstood my initial post in this regard. Khair, let's move on. =)

And how the sister perceives it, and how she defines love and wants it expressed may be entirely different. At the end of the day, what makes Pakhtuns different, and the part of our culture many women hate is this. Us women can never put ourselves in the shoes of a brother and sense the amount his carries on his shoulders in the name of (and for) his sisters. Sooner or later we realise how inexperienced and immature we were to say some things. If anything, I take pride in the fact that our men are possessive in that sense. I'd rather be a Pakhtana who is locked away, than a girl who goes with her brother to clubs (not just an example). To me, the brother-sister relationship is the one I value over others. My Brothers frown means more than all the riches of the world to me, because I know how many lessons there are in just that, so let alone a few words of advice he gives me.

A bit off topic, I apologise.

yh its not big deal some ppl r open minded some arent, and i agree, u shouldnt tell to someone who isnt a good person, or ask u in other way, like "do u have a sister" if someone ask me that obviously i would mind it but if they ask me how many sibling u have then there is no shame of hidding.

anyhow, its ur choice how u deal :P

i don't think AnGaaR specifically asked anyone "how many sisters you have" now that would have been disrespectful...

u guys are all confusing this questions about siblings with a question specifically about sisters.
