Listen i am not a clown or entertainer, i have spent my entire life in pakhtunkhwa and our ways and behaviours are definately different from those altered and modernised pashtuns who live in the west. Call us backward or retarded but we dont share info of female members of our family with persons not related to us by blood.
I wouldn't agree. My nephews wouldn't even mention my name around their friends or cousins, let alone my Dear Brother. And it makes perfect sense. This is not limited to our culture. My sister had Greek classmates in College, they were twins (males) and they were very protective (synonymous with zeal) over their sister, so much so that no one among their peers even knew her name. And she went to the very same college as her brothers. I am a female yet I feel the same when it comes to asking people about their male family members. I think it comes down to one's social upbringing and exposure. At the end of the day (in this sense), that is what makes some different to others.
A pashtun dont tell number of his sisters to pradi khalak.
I fully agree, what is happening in the real life. In normal life, people do not ask, how many sisters you have. They just ask, how many brothers you are. Good, bad, ridiculous, backward, psycho, or any name can be given but realities will remain the realities. Luffy I appreciate your truthfulness and straightforwardness. I will not say that Pashtoons are backward in Pakhtoonkhwa, they are because they are.
