average height of pashtun men?

Holland has one of the most tallest people in the world, yet they are the most liberal people on the planet.

Does that mean every Pashtun is a liberal due to their height?

Why don't we concentrate more on our mind's and how we can function them correctly instead of comparing heights of each others tribes.

My uncle is way over 6ft tall, his wife is only 5ft. Big deal, there daughters turned out to be short and chubby.

I guess our tribe is over, we are not tall enough to see how much bull**** some people like to speak about.

Might be because we are wearing combat boots and standing up straight (military bearing). I've seen Pashtuns from northern and southern Astan and also Pakhtunkhwa, haven't seen many here under 5'7", average seems to be the same as the US approx 5'9" although Afghan avg body weight is far less probably due to wartime childhood malnutrition. I do run into a few enormous palawans every now and then.

I have to agree with Kakargirl on this one. Men from the greater Helmand region espeically are pretty consistently above 6 ft from what I have seen personally.

In your dreams white boy. Pashtuns in AFG are, on average, much taller than you albino chumps. A large percentage of Pashtuns are well above 6 feet.

old folks back home say, kandaharis are tall, mazari (northerners) are short. my lot are from zabul and my brothers, uncles and cousins are circa 5'11" - 6'4" and generally zabuli are slim and on tall side - i am 6', my younger brothers are 6'1" and 6'2"

from my observations - mountain valley people tend to be short and stocky - panjshiris and nuristanis for example, like that tajik former head of intelligence - i forget his name - stocky and on short side. people from maidans - like kandahar, helmand, nangarhar for example are long limbed tall. exception being high maidans of bamiyan, stocky again, probably because of sino-mongolian ancestry.

I am exactly 6 feet but i tell 5'11" so that people dont assume that i am boasting. Torkham your this mountain height doesnt apply to pashtuns that much accurately. Wazirs, mehsuds, orkazais, afridis etc are mountain people but are very tall. But non-pashtuns mountainous people like chitralis are very very short people.
