^ I am actually quite hideous looking. I am fat at about 4'10" height. I have a huge mole on my right side of face, right next to my lips. It has a hair that comes out of it the length of 2 inches....i think it defies beauty that i envy. I have these huge eyes that bulge out. I have a huge wart (witches wart) on the tip of my nose....dude you dont want to see me.....i have been told to carry a sign that says 'Beware, troll coming through.' I nearly cried for a whole year.

Well this is a touchy topic. I never felt the need to date when I was younger. I heard about all the drama and freakshows my non-Muslim friends had to deal with. Growing up in a religious household, allowed me to embrace my religion more and really get into the reasons why dating was Haram and so forth. So for me, boyfriends were out of the question. Like unknownprice mentioned, "was I tempted, of course. Did I ask on it, no". I fell like I had points like that in my life, but I could clearly see that the relationship wouldn't go anywhere.

I'm not afraid of what my parents would think, or that my parents would be disappointed in me. Rather, I'm afraid of how Allah (swt) will view me and how He'll be disappointed in me and that I could not be able to handle. So I refrain from Haram things. No that I'm older, and at the marriage age- I'm not going to go around dating random people. But I'd meet brothers who had the qualities that I want like someone else mentioned. And everything would be done in a very Halal way. I'd go hang out with him, if we had someone older as a chaperon, only if we both new it would certainly lead towards marriage. And once that time came, (this would have to be within a short time frame) I would expect us to tell our parents and make things work Insha'Allah.

And of course, there would be no random touching, or any public displays of affection, heck even private displays of affection, until Islamically we're married.
