this poor manzareh seems very confused should not be blamed. he need help of pashtun forum to find himself. stop criticizing him. this poor guy has no idea how many loyal pashtun to pashtun have served in paki army. the list he has mentioned most of them have inheritted their status in napak army from their british masters including Ayub khan, the others were educated and raiesed in panajab. the video he has posted the guy can barely speak pashto. i doubt that this poor manzareh is actually a pashtun. help him out to find his identity. stop blaming this confused gentle man.

Now for the billionth time to end this debate in a very simple link from the belly of the beast ISPR (who themselves are suspect since they inflate numbers themselves)...here it is
                      Source is the Dawn
Punjab’s dominance in army being reduced: ISPR

A planned effort is being made to revise the composition of the Pakistan Army by reducing the dominance of Punjab to a considerable level over a period of four years.

In 2001, the Punjabis constituted over 71 per cent of the army. The numerical strength was reduced in later years and has been brought down to just over 57 per cent this year. A further three per cent decrease in recruitment from that province is on the cards by 2011.

The information is part of a booklet titled ‘Information Brief’, published by the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Directorate, the official mouthpiece of the Army, released to counter the growing criticism at home and abroad over the composition of the military and the riches it has accumulated over the years, turning it into the country’s biggest corporate giant.

The booklet has also countered the figures indicating the size of the land being controlled by the army mentioned in Ayesha Siddiqa’s book, ‘Military Inc’.

Within a decade (2001-2011), the composition of Pakhtuns in the army would increase by one per cent to 14.5 per cent.

A two per cent increase will be made in the number of Sindhis bringing their total strength to 17 per cent by 2011.

The representation of Balochis, which was nil in 2001, constitutes 3.2 per cent at present. Their composition would be increased to 4 per cent by 2011.

Similarly, with their zero per cent presence in the army seven years ago, the people from Azad Kashmir and Northern Areas now constitute 9.11 per cent of the army. However, their number would be curtailed to 9 per cent in 2011.

By 2011, it will be ensured that at least one person from the minorities is among hundred personnel of the armed forces. At present they constitute just 0.72 per cent while seven years ago, their presence was just 0.29 per cent in the army.

The ISI was the brainchild of australian-born british army officer, Major General R. Cawthome, then Deputy chief of army in the pakistan army.

General Sir Douglas David Gracey, KCB, KCIE, CBE, MC was born on 3 Sept 1894. He was commissioned in British Army and served in both the First and Second World Wars. He is the second Chief of Army Staff of Pakistan, holding this office from 11 February 1948 to 16 January 1951

ISI and the pakistani military is an evil organization invented by the british deceiving the world to think it represents Islam just like this jew is making the world beleive he represents Islam. graveyardofempires put this up.

Read this article on what the pakistan military leaders are doing, enslaving the average poor pakistani citizen. Who ever calls this Islam needs to get his head examined.

manzarai sb,The above names you claim to be pashtuns soldiers are mostly punjabis and indain mahajars with surname khan.
Naseeurllah baba, abas khatak, sher khan and ihsanul haque are pashtuns.
Ayub khan was khindkai of tareen pashtun origin.
                            He was against pashtun nationalism.
I call these people punjabi nawakrs and traiters.
What they have done for pashtuns?
They are bombing their own pashtuns for the interest of punjabis.

Pashtuns do not make 45% of pak army, it must be around 20%. Among pashtuns, khattaks are famous for being so numarous in pak army. In my area every clan has some one in pak army

Pashtun officers in army are strictly pakistani nationalists while pashtun soldiers are simple pashtuns of humble background.
