    • If the Muslim world spent the money on education and how to treat women properly instead of using the money on ammunition to enforce women to wear such degrading clothes, then there would be no need for a women to wear a Burqa however due to the Man-Made hadiths women are oppressed and forced to wear such clothing, deceiving them into thinking they are some what morally better than those who dont just as we saw on the dispatches expose of what Mullahs teach kids in Mosques in the UK i.e if a man does not have a fistfull of hair under his chin, then he is a bad person and stay away from him.

      • unknownprince, i have never been treated as a 3rd class citizen anywhere. in the east or in the west, but i had some hassles as a woman travelling alone in italy and pakistan. i was treated like a queen, in iran and looked after by men in afghanistan who helped get me work, doing portraits.
a woman does have to be aware about sexual predators and that is probably in every country.

        • Dear faye, you are a westerner in their eyes. Can a Afghan Women draw Portraits so openly in Public? This is the big question. You do not live there or come from there, so how could you understand the people's mentality in those areas?.

Having said that a lady must be free to decide whether to wear it or not if she wear's it one should respect her decision & the lady that does not wear's it one should respect her decision as well it has to go both ways as there is no compulsion in islam like the sister who does not wears it nothing wrong in it same way the sister who wears the burkha or hijab there nothing wrong in it either so like any other dressings the burkha or hijab must also be respected & NOT looked down upon or wished to be disposed of no sir that is not fair either, so burkha or hijab jeans or skirt both should be treated with respect & NOT looked down upon
I didnt say it was cultural. It comes from an interpretation of religion (which I don't think is correct).

I'm in two minds about Burkhas and Niqabs. I don't really care if they're allowed to wear them, or if they're banned. Sometimes they do more harm than good but it depends on the society they are present in.

In any case women don't seem to defend it with any vigour.

You drew that yourself? You're so artistically talented.

NOW I see what you mean!

                      Impressive ---

Is the top smaller pic the type of dress worn ?
                      It's REALLY pretty!

that's what I'm always talking about as the most suitable for
women to wear East or West.
                        The most attractive, truly.
Tight skirts, short skirts, all pants of every description are simply ugly
and look to men as though the woman cares little about herself
and most of all, her femininity.

Speaking of foreign travel, I traveled everywhere in Kochi dress like this style
a little bit, but with different trimmings etc and different sleeves.
Men got the message easily: stay away unless have honorable intentions only !

Had I worn jeans and looked like the type of woman seen by all countries these days
in American movies, the reception likely would have been different.

Part depends on one's comportment, attitude, aura, expression of face etc.

I found GREEK men to be the MOST aggressive and annoying.
Italians were behind them; Muslims were well behind those.
Why? The Muslims were brought up better.
