Anyway I only joined this forum to improve my Pashto and not get into debates/arguments with you guys because I knew my views and actions are not appreciated by narrow minded/conservative type people which most of you seem to be

Prove that is it is original. Normally in most langauges historically, "s" becomes "h" - it does not happen the other way round.
As for sounding better, "sh" is a lot smoother than "kh". When you want somebody to be quiet, you say "shhhhhhhhhh....." if you said "khkhhhh....." you would sound like a fierce wild animal
There's a few threads on this. See my past posts, you'll find it eventually.
Sh sounds more nice-ish. Kh sounds like warrior speak.
Samandri why did you delete your post? It gave me some credibility.
I am surprised that maneatinglizard thinks you are an indic and Akbar thinks your Pashto is weak. It appears to me your Kandahari supremacism has ticked them off.
You are a Muhammadzai Durrani from Quetta. How and when your family ended up in Quetta city?. I am just curious because of the following ;
A lot of the Kandaharis I have come across over the years had a lot of pride in being Kandahari. I always found it kind of strange as I see them the same as other Pashtuns but I think it's fine as long as they don't go full blown supremacist. However, this zda kawoonke guy has taken it too far. He is living in some fantasy world where Kandaharis are some kind of perfect master-race and other Pashtuns suck up to them.
I agree with others who say that he is probably not pashtun. I don't think he is indic though, I don't get the "indic vibe" from him. Actually, my suspicion is that he is a white Briton. This comes from the fact that English is his first language. I do not see how someone who spent their early years in Pakistan could have English as their first language except that their parents were English speaking. Also, something in the life story he presented to us tells me that his parents were British expats living in Pakistan.

Oh yeah. I forgot Killzai spoke Pashto. That is a very real possibility I did not consider.

When I said he was an Indic troll, I meant to emphasize the troll part. He could be a non-Indic (though the random and unexplained supremacist feelings for a loose connection to a city is something you generally only find in loser Indics), but since the trolls that come here seem to always be Indics, I assumed he was one too.
Like I said, it's entirely possible that he's just an idiot Pashtun, but the fact that he seems totally unaware of Pashtun culture (no one who knows Pashtuns would seriously think that we would change our accent to "suck up" to someone), makes me doubt it.
But I have no doubt that he's a troll. I mean, the guy is bragging about being a major drunkard and charsi while simultaneously praising the Taliban and calling them the good guys because they were from Kandahar. You can't make your trolling more obvious than that. He claims to have lived in Pakistan for 15 out of 24 years, but even the most Punjabized Pashtun should know better than to claim this garbage. I guess he could also just be extremely stupid.

I actually thought he was a non-Pashtun from his first post. Notice how he introduced himself as a Pashto student rather than a Pashtun? I wasn't even going to say anything at first, until he started claiming to be a Pashtun and spouting this Kandahari nonsense.

The Kandaharis I know are proud of their Kandahar the same way we are proud of Zazi and Paktia. We love our land and are proud of the unique aspects of our dialect and culture, but we don't expect others to treat us specially in any way. I've never met a Kandahari who goes beyond that either. And while my elders will speak Sheen Pashto with them, they likewise speak Kheen Pashto with us. Not because we're sucking up, but out of courtesy. The same way a bunch of Pashtuns will speak Farsi if a single Farsiwan is among them.

I agree with you for the most part but in my experience Kandaharis go a bit further than the average pashtun in their pride for their area of origin. Of course, the Kandaharis I have come across are still nothing close to this zda kawoonke guy.

That's interesting. Most Peshawaris(as in people from the entire Peshawar valley) kind of expect other Pashtuns in KPK and FATA to speak Peshawari pashto with us. That's especially true if they speak a difficult dialect like Wazirwola. My family has acquaintances and family friends from Southern KPK and FATA and those people always speak Peshawari pashto with us instead of their native dialect. I wouldn't say it's out of disrespect though, it's just that Peshawari Pashto is the de facto standard dialect in KPK and we have become accustomed to other Pashtuns from KPK and FATA being able to speak our dialect. With Pashtuns of North Balochistan I guess you could say that our dialect and the dialect of Quetta are on equal footing. The only situation I can think of where we might adjust our dialect is when we're speaking with Afghan Pashtuns. We recently had an interaction with some Wardaks and I noticed my father adjusted his accent a little when speaking to them.
